PHP Chat

I always wondered if it would be possible to use solely php to connect to a irc server as that would give a lot more freedom than using pjirc or a flash chat as well that your members wouldn't need flash or java installed.

Now it seems it's possible, I didn't tried it out but these 2 links should give you the food for it.

You should give it a go. The flash chat doesn't work for me (it just flashes) so it will be a 100% improvement for me
