mdshare
Been busy the past month(s) on building a extreme large database with items etc that can be used in game(s) Now I'm a step further ... Here is a first thought on how to give the item info to the player when he/she clicks the info button. Thoughts, input are welcome
CLANG
Re: Item display Looking good. Its a good idea that your making an item database. Are you going to be selling it?
mdshare
Re: Item display That's the idea behind it Having ready to use item databases, still have to contact some stockphoto archives where I bought image licenses to see if I can sell or not or what the extra cost would be. would prob be in diff packages * Melee weapon database (+200) * Herbs (+100) * Buildings (+50) etc ... in diff formats xls, mysql, xml, csv
POG1
Re: Item display They look sick. Also, i will probably buy the building items if you are selling. Working on a mod that would go well :)

mdshare
Re: Item display "themed" items or just a big dump on all? So I assume it's about themed items, well I have them in categories also so far stone age, medieval, present, future, alchemy, cooking, ... The first post is just displaying some in a easy way, simple template where data gets included template is just css with some colour changes and font sizes and resize of actuall image, was just a bit of playing to well have a different view than boring db txt example of item template with just Group filled in Changing colour to #3366cc, adding group, name, image This might give also ideas to game owners to create something else than the old boring tables for iteminfo, example for a medieval game could be using a template with a scroll (top, mid, bottom). mdshare
Re: Item display great idea mdshare. hope u do get the licenses to sell images lol. I hold the licenses for my use, but to resell waiting on some mails ... might be that additional licenses or plans have to be purchased. mdshare
Re: Item display will most likely not be cheap knowing that each image license costs between $0.50-$5 some more
