Eid is the Name of the celebration day. Its full name is Eid-Ul-Fitr (the other one we get is called Eid-Ul-Adha)

Mubarak is just like a congratulation thingy...like merry Christmas, ours is Eid mubarak (Arabic)

It's the same in mexico, christmas is like nothing there but then 4 week's after come's there actual christmas.
