Hey everyone, just wanted to get your thoughts on what I am currently working on. In the couple of years that I have been playing text games I havent seen anything like this so I decided to try to create it and so far so good as I am pretty new to coding games for myself. I am basically creating alliances/factions between players based on what actions they do in the game similar to a fable style type thing. Im trying to make it so that anything you do affects your outcome whether it be good or evil and depending on what your are it will limit you to specific items, cities, properties, gangs, and almost everything that you can do inside the game. I am even going to make it so that every so often via a cron it will select a gang or 2 from each alliance and automatically start a war for X amount of days. Im also going to create some pros and cons for being one alliance or another. So some input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated or if you have other questions feel free cause I gotta head back into work :( Thanks for reading and any comments

I think its a pretty cool feature and it doesnt seem like a bad idea for the most part but I guess the question would be for an average sized game with average users online how would it be on resources? Im not too saavy with limiting resource use but would it lag a bit? Oh and yeah I did just see he says he made the users last page mod lol my bad I should look with my eyes instead of my mouth

Yeah but if I were to go and look at userss online every single one of them would say that the last page they went to was users online even if they were browsing the forums or in a chat etc etc etc. I will say it looks a whole lot better than a lot of these files so good job, I uploaded it I just got to do some tweaks.but overall I like it

Jersey is New Jersey just a slang term for it but I believe its actually short for Jersey City, New Jersey. Its just a little Vacation spot so if you were looking for something like that go to Santa Monica in California it much nicer. The only good thing about living on the east coast is if you got sick of one state the next state is a short drive away as where over here on the west coast its hours to fo some place new. But then again im confused looking at the post is jersey the islands you speak of lol

Ahh man Jersey! Have you seen The Jersey Shore? You probably wouldnt want to live there. If you wanted to live near something like that come to California. You have avout 900 miles of ocean to choose from. I myself wouldnt mind moving to the UK or France

Ha! If you dont have millions lying around then good luck in LA. Even the ghetto areas like the ones you hear about on tv and movies like Compton or Watts its just as expensive as where I live which is about 60 miles which I guess is around 90-100km and our houses around 150-200k and thats the ghetto. Yeah its not very cool or fair to post up some paid mods on a forum that someone else created or to "trade" paid mods who knows how many people got their hands on those scripts now and that just money out of cronus' pocket that he could have made especially with that donator mod, ive seen it and its great. And sorry to jump your thread cronus but let me flip it here for a sec now that im here. Do business with cronus, buy his mods cause they are pretty dern good I should know cause I have tons of them ;) and all paid for to the man himself. I gave up on cod since right after B.O. There is nothing but spawn campers, glitch exploits, and cheaters. It takes no skill to to win matches thats why I prefer bf3. Its more realistic in terms of a video game warfare and more team oriented. As long as you have a half decent squad your team has a better chance of winning. And you cant beat the 25 minute matches where up until the end its anyones match. Its a shame this is a Xbox thread cause then id bring up MAG on ps3 talk about big teams 256 players in one match and its like bf2 on the PC with squad leaders and commanders with artillery strike package drops and all that jazz

I didnt mess with anything that has to do with memory. I dont even know where to find that on xampp Atm I only have the 1 Parent thats shows auto when you insert the SQL.
