  1. Please don't punish us next time by uploading a 4MB PNG-24 image. As Gaara Ichimaru stated , I also think it will be better to get rid of gray background but you may instead consider a darker one with a nice watermark. Btw, is this Romanian?
  2. Yes they don't go through google (even though there are some) after registered but it is already about driving traffic. Before registering and knowing this site, no one will come through direct typing, that's what I mean
  3.   Yours is a better approach. If you don't redirect domain with a 301 , google indexes your site as another one and if it notices that both sites have same content it favours one of them. Still didn't get idea of having multiple or backup domain but even if you do , 301 doesn't kill :)   I mean everyone finds your site through search engine ie Google or ads. No one thinks that he needs an awesome browser game and first tries if there is an awesomebrowsergame.com This also leads to another situation. Domain name is no longer crucially important.
  4. I am ok with some but a not easy to play game usually leads to a selective player base. And then common dilemma of game owner gets into the scene. Intensive Hardcore players vs Extensive common/noob.
  5. Yes a contract is a contract in any country but it doesn't mean much if you can't practically enforce it. Would you care to spend thousand dollars for legal issues if game itself worth somewhere around? And it is not always easy to do this. I had same problem in a project I was working on. There were contributors worldwide. There was always risk of your idea being stolen, actually I had no idea how to protect it beside choosing this people from trustworthy ones.
  6. even if you give an incentive? (like referral bonus crystal, or 5% of their future winnings etc)
  7. Google may index your site without asking you. And when they noticed that both sites have same content, it doesn't end up well. And I still didn't get the idea of using multiple domain names. In Google age, no one enters awesomebrowsergame.com to address bar. It also reduces effectiveness of advertisement
  8. Using multiple domains for one site is not a good idea, especially in Google age. Even if you do this, ensure that other domains have HTTP 301 (Permanent Redirect)
  9. Browser games are said to be very high bounce rate. Having a nice retention is really hard. I think one of the most neglected aspects for it is sensible UI. Even some micromanagement lovers may be frustrated at the horrible UI not conforming to their senses.
  10. Kinda old thread but is a NDA practically enforcable out of US (or country it is signed)? What if parties are from different countries?
  11. I don't think so. As long as you didn't create a highly experimental or hardcore game, there is no right public which want to play your game. In fact these people are not a good target for game owner, imo. Who likes bunch of expert players? I'd rather prefer noobs and newcomers to genre. Btw, best ad is still word-of-mouth , imo . Adding an incentive (like referral bonus) is also a good idea.
  12. First, hello there o/ (First post) I think a good game needs a nice planning first. Keep in mind that most of the mistakes are done even before writing one line of code. Have a bigger picture, minimize risk. In addition to this, game should offer something new. It doesn't have to be breakthrough or pioneer but still who wants to play yet another X, Y, Z? It is good to keep amateur soul, but still add some professionalism.
