Need 3 helpers with Criminal Outlaws!
W3Theory || Peter replied to oxidati0n's topic in Partnerships
So I just saw help out with the community but you are looking for people to help develop the game without any pay? Even though you stated you have lots of money.... -
Why not search yourself and come up with an unique idea that fits your game story? Instead of asking others to do work for you and you pick them out...

Need 3 helpers with Criminal Outlaws!
W3Theory || Peter replied to oxidati0n's topic in Partnerships
Hopefully you are not making it sound more than what it really is..... (game wise)... -
I am stating from this and previous posts that you have limited knowledge of running a game or putting it together. (No offense was intended) so i said you shouldn't open the game up with premium options or anything that people can buy with money. As I seen this many times and have done it myself (hated it) , open a game with little knowledge people.come on buy items with money and then game shuts down because.of lack attention or development. p

Yes I have sniko. Like a_Bertrand has said there are better ways to go about it. Plus I don't even agree with some of their ideology (if you can say they have a set defined one)
-
Its your game, why do you want people to do the simplest part of the game for you? If you can't do that, I would advise opening your game up in where there are no premium possible items to buy or donator packages and just have it.all.for free. As you need.to experiment a little more and not waste possible future players.money.

Us vice, its pretty clear. As the question was directed to anonymous and how we felt about them.

I don't support them.

I.have Ibrahim on MSN and he is a scanner/list. I wouldn't trust him if.I was anyone. He first stated he had 4,000 for a game but couldn't afford a template. Gangstalife was his.old.name on here and we all.the troubles that came with him.

Yeah anything is worth doing, however not sure if that would be a top seller. Hard to manipulate that into any sort of theme really. Would be just for hacking, which would mean limited clients and customers. Best idea would be to focus on releasing it yourself and just run it as a unique script. I don't think you will get that many clients.

Hmm in honest, there are a good amount wrong with it. You have three fonts going on at once, and then you just took their logo and placed it right on the banner without removing the background so just have a gray box on the corner.

PrisonLords Layout [Layered PSD] !FREE! + DESIGN TUTORIAL!
W3Theory || Peter replied to a topic in Art and Content
Wouldn't say it's sad. Someone paid me to do it, I did it for them. How fair is it for me to then give it away for free? Zero fairness. It's fine George you want to help out, doesn't mean that everyone has to be like here let me take time of my busy day and prepare something that is already given to them for free and take that extra step for them and do it for free... How fair that you keep posting or messaging someone to do it for free?... -
PrisonLords Layout [Layered PSD] !FREE! + DESIGN TUTORIAL!
W3Theory || Peter replied to a topic in Art and Content
that is a bad comparison one is a licensed design, yours is open to the public without a license per player. Not trying to start an argument really but I am just stating you can't tell people they can't code it up and sell the coded file. But we can leave it at that, agree to disagree -
PrisonLords Layout [Layered PSD] !FREE! + DESIGN TUTORIAL!
W3Theory || Peter replied to a topic in Art and Content
When selling it coded they are not selling the design but the work to get it coded, so they do/I would have the right code and then sell it. Not selling the psd, but the coded version. If I was going around trying to sell your psd / design then I would be in the wrong. Plus it.is fine to help out, but you then get.alot.of people who now have the psd but want it coded and it to be free. So they come bugging to get it done, for free. -
PrisonLords Layout [Layered PSD] !FREE! + DESIGN TUTORIAL!
W3Theory || Peter replied to a topic in Art and Content
The template might be under creative commons, but it doesn't mean that we have to give away the slicing/coding the template for free to people. It is fine that you wanted to give it to the public, but that doesn't mean we "have" to give the coded version of it free. Since they are paying for a different service then the webdesign. -

I have also sliced this up and coded them template. Someone was bothering just recently trying to make me post it public for everyone, but someone already paid for it and so can not and will not being posting it public. -
Okay two things wrong with this. First, you said you will do the template last before beta testing stage? So are you saying you will get a template and just slop it on? By getting a new template you will need to reformat most of your pages to work with it, usually a template is one of the first things to get so you can actually see how things are progressing and will look. Bad idea. Second. "Ways around paying for advertising" - If you are going in that direction, then you most likely will not get your game heard out there. Yes there is ways and some are good, but to leave it all to no using money to advertise is not a smart thing.

The difference is that he stated when opening this that he has alot of educated programmers and wants the game to be big. In either way he should make sure before letting others know (I made this mistake myself) that the game is there to see.

Looking for quotes on a custom game from a reputable programmer
W3Theory || Peter replied to bobbylien's topic in Games
A_bertrand gave you a true post. A professional programmer will cost 20-100$ per hour. I would say what you are looking at is 10$ hour. You say hours required? How can someone say hours required when they have zero information about what they have to create given to them. If you co-own a business then would know that this is not the right to go about trying to hire someone... -
Yeah still after taking a look at the site and from this description, I will stick with my impression. Though good luck on it :)

20x more? That sounds like the economy is going to be sunk right of the geico. What is unique about this game? Don't say we have a lot of unique ideas we created from our own (that doesn't mean anything) I am lost with this introduction, it sounds like you are going to be doing alot to it but haven't? Just the way this is written, doesn't sound very serious to me, atleast in my honest opinion. I do though wish you the best of luck on it

If you are giving free advertising away.....
W3Theory || Peter replied to bezziebb's topic in Advertising offers
On another note, the only real advertising you will find are voting sites and adding your games to them. Have you tried that out yet? -

W3Theory || Peter replied to bezziebb's topic in Advertising offers
Pardon my stealing this thread. But if anyone is looking to give away a free game, please let me know! I am looking for a FREE game. Thanks ;) -
Do you have a link to your game? There are people out there who put all their money and time into something and it doesn't get recognition. I mean you need to analyze and sit back, look at your site and look at others. Are you just copying ideas from the same site and placing them onto yours?
