  1. That is a true point, that is why I am trying to build a reputation for myself and my company I represent as a whole, W3 Theory. W3 Theory has been around for around 10 months, still increasing the numbers of the people they host and I want to make sure and given certainty that I am not a person who would scam/screw people over. I want to create a trust with all clients, reason why I give them my phone number (for us citizen) and my msn. I also give them my address so they know where I am at and can actually put a location where exactly the company is located. It is hard being a real small hosting company to build that customer trust. Most of my clients have hosting with me and I hope none of them feel worried/scared that I would do something.
  2. Of course, if you have any historic ideas/thoughts/concerns just message me on here or add me on msn, which I am sure you have me on haha
  3. Thank you, I do appreciate your comments. I just want to make a game that I am satisfied with really. That is my biggest concern and to satisfy my gaming needs is hard, so I am challenging myself haha
  4. Well, i started fully off with McCodes, I can't say I didn't. But all features that people use have been custom made, I wouldn't say it's an engine that people will be able to create other themes off of. It's set to be made for one game. The database was restructured and the only two tables left are the users and userstats (which still had changes to them), the rest have been deleted and are gone. The only files that are still structured the way McCodes is. Though as time has been going on they are slowly losing that feel and becoming it's own.
  5. Well I am putting all my time and effort into it. I just wanted to create something that I would love pretty much haha
  6. Year 1920 - The Game Well I was holding off, into the game was about a month away from beta, to release this in the public forums. I have been working on a project with another web developer on a current mafia based game, Year 1920. Even though, there are plenty of Mafia themed games out there and it is hard to stand out, I believe this game has that given spark. The story plot is still being developed, but the overall idea/concept is what we have been using to base all of our features and pages. There is no hiding the fact that this game started off as mccodes and we know this always pushes people away. So we want to make the point that at this moment, we have very few files that are related to mccodes and before we release we are certain just through our programming those will be gone. As you will see all of our actual features are custom based, the only files we are using at the moment are the globals/functions and header files. We didn't think you could deliver a unique game if you are just changing up how the feature played from what you were given and went in a new direction in most areas. The concept of the game is that it is based in the US during the 1920's. This is during the Prohibition War, which was when the government made it law that Alcohol was illegal . This started a chain of events in where criminal organizations came together to abuse the system and bootleg alcohol to local illegal bars, called speakeasies. The more detail concept that we are still developing will be based around an Italian immigrant coming from Italy to Ellis Island looking for that "new hope". We wanted to capture as much realistic events/concept as possible to give it that overall feel. What gives it that spark? Well for starts, we switched the game into a more strategy based game play. With you having to always decide how you spend your time and what you spend your skills on. Each character class is granted with 14 skill sets and 4 user stats. Skill sets will be used mostly throughout the game and helps decide the outcome of your actions. We have also took out the whole structure system on how the layout was structured and game was played. Some examples of features, are for instance, crimes which are based on skill sets and are located on a map which is different for each city. Attacking system is more controlled by you on how you actually fight each round. Shooting range to give you that feel of actually participating in the game. Home system which makes you see progress on any upgrades that you do your home. And more.. You can follow us at a couple different portals: Homepage: http://www.year1920.com Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Year-1920-The-Game/198658023510293 We hope to bring a new style of entertainment and gameplay to the overused mafia theme. Thank you, Year 1920 Staff
  7. Yeah I was going to say 30$ max is what he should pay depending how many files he would have to go to.
  8. I can create a spare site for fun off of it and you seem like you need to sell it.
  9. I will buy it off of you if that is considered ethical?
  10. Thank you for the comments so far guys, I appreciate it Peter Leaman
  11. Didn't you just ask to help run a game that you didn't even know the owners of???? http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39787-CriminalOutlaws.com?p=259539#post259539 Yep..
  12. Hahah so doesn't like **** but likes f*ck (testing it out myself aye)
  13. Hello everyone, I would like to try and gather up ideas/thoughts on how people perceive me and how I handled working with them if they were a client of mine. This is due to a thread already made for me, all due to confusion and misunderstanding and could give a misunderstanding on how I tend to think I do business. So I would like to have any past clients or people who have dealt with me to post their thoughts and experience. This is a way I can practice/fix on the negativity people post and help build a better reputation. Plus anything from that previous thread should not be posted on here as that is already stated. I am looking for new and current views. Thank you Peter Leaman
  14. You might want to turn your pm on, if you need you can add me on msn at [email protected] I'll be more than to help you with any problems or insist you with possible people if needed. I been on the forums for a long time now. Plus: If you do not choose me, don't let anyone charge you 200$ for that. It should not be that expensive at all. Edit: For me this is about a 25$ job in my honest opinion.
  15. I have tested this out as well, I must say I do see a difference. Very nice catch there mystical. Though may I ask where you got it from?
  16. I highly doubt you have 5,000$ first. Second, no he is not respectable or trustworthy. He has scammed multiple of people.
  17. Oh I don't trust people I don't know. I never been scammed by the people as I make sure to check sources before dealing with them. I am informing from what I see on other reports. Failbro, I remember a while back there was an incidence with you? Trying to get into people game files and pretending you "were working" with people that you weren't... http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39428-Failbro/page2?highlight=Failbro
  18. I like how you only censor the word sh*t but all other words, that are possibly considered more offensive are not haha
  19. You posted one though on here as a little example. So that still counts as an example. I am not trying to be mean, but just letting you know how I see it.
  20. Right, I saw. If you wanted people to use your services then why post a generic story plot to show people you work? If you wanted to grab clients, then you should of came up with a real strong story plot that people would read and want to get one from you. But from seeing this, I wouldn't want to hire either one of you for content work based on the examples you given. Examples are suppose to show off you work.
  21. Like I mention before on your thread Ben-Nasha, both of your story plots are just too generic. Anyone would be able to come up with them if they spent 5 minutes or so. This is not meant in any offense, but when creating a story plot, you need to create a character based, a real life explanation that seems plausible. For example, DreamCoder, that doesn't make sense at all on how he became a "Mafia Soldier". A mafia soldier is someone who is generally a soldier/strong man for a organized crime unit, family organization. So to say you are a Mafia Soldier now because you are fighting in the streets to survive by yourself, doesn't work. A mafia is built up of multiple people, not just one. It would be Gangster Soldier in your case. To continue on, there is no real reason to play on the story line, I don't see how you can make a game fit that theme unless by doing just random features/crimes, which doesn't make the player feel like they are progressing. The story doesn't explain what you are trying to really fight for (just to survive isn't enough, most mafia/gangster games are made that way).
  22. Hmm, in my opinion it's still a generic kind of story line. A story plot is suppose to make you feel connected it and give you a full understanding what is going on. Plus make you feel like you are there. This is kind are in blocks and doesn't feel like would happen.
  23. I wouldn't make that a logo to be honest as well. It's a design and creative, however as a logo it doesn't work.
  24. I never used redux myself, however I would have to agree with LostOne 100%. I feel like when using a McCodes and no matter if you do a theme change or change a couple pages/ides up, the game will always have the same feel of the rest of the game. The best is to learn by creating your own, as then you will be able to fully decided, without having to do many major reworks, on how you want to run your game. Most people know my stance anyways on McCodes, I found the company to be very unprofessional and not care about their customers. I don't see them active at all (no matter how busy you are, you need to keep a reputation up as a company and visit the site atleast every night and make posts).
