Well, considering I have spent quite a bit of time on here, I might as well say hi. I was quite amazed about the support available here as well as all the technical insight! I will definitely be spending a lot of time on CE. I'm 28 years old and I live in beautiful Whistler, BC, home of some of the biggest mountains in North America and also the venue for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. I'm a professional snowboarder and a new business owner. I run an Adventure Tours business and also have a mccode based game almost finished in its beta stages (Public Release Date, 1st November, 2008). Although mccode based, I am working very hard to make it an original style of game play and have added some unique features which should gather some interactive interest. Some of you may of visited my site already, some of you haven't. For those of you who haven't, tough luck, you will have to wait to it's released to the public. :wink: There is a lot of original artwork being implemented as well as some pretty cool features. So yea, I am sure I will meet a few more of you on here and want to thank everyone who has been supportive to not just me, but the whole php gaming community as it has been helpful to everyone who's been involved.

Re: BBCode_Engine I ended up implementing the forum BBCode into my profile signatures and mailboxes without any problems. When trying to add it to Gang Announcements and Gang Description, the BBCode works but I get line breaks displayed. Does this have to do with the fact that I am using '$gangdata' in {$gangdata['gangDESC']} instead of '$r' because that is the only difference that I see between the BBCodes for the mailbox, sig or forum. How could I remove the line breaks from being displayed?

Re: Free 2 - Gym I finally got this script to work on Internet Explorer Nyna. It took me a while to figure it out as it was working fine on Firefox but the trouble was all over this comment in this line.   I removed and it works fine for Internet Explorer and Safari users. Funny how such a little thing such as that comment caused me so much grief and agony with IE.

Re: New improved mailbox. nice to see someone who added line breaks and clickable emoticons, only thing is that when you read an old message, it subtracts your mailbox counter to the negatives.

Re: The Drug Deal --- Free V2 Mod great job shrek, something else i wanted to point out from one of my beta testers is this bug. "I found the bug when you sell drugs. I was copying the amount and pasting it. This made the number that I copied include a space in the end. So if you try and type in the number of drugs you would like to sell and then have a space in the end you end up with selling the drugs but you get $0." anyone have a solution for this one?

Re: Small Mod :) Good job Pog, I've done something like this myself in my game and it makes a big difference in separating the staff from the donators and members.

When playing some popular mccode based games, you tend to encounter server maintenance during the cron day reset. My question is, what all happens during that time? Is it only to process the cron day and what's in the cron that needs to halt a game for a few minutes? Or is it just database backup? I'm sure it's a combination of things depending on the server but I was just curious to find out more.

Re: Free 2 - Gym Mu users and I love this mod, thanks Nyna! One problem that I am having is that it works great in Firefox, but won't load in IE or Safari. When using Safari, it displays the top header image and that's it. I am assuming this is a header.php conflict, are there any differences I should be aware of between Firefox and IE scripting that may be causing this issue? I've noticed on one or maybe two pages on my site that cuts the bottom footer image out as well. Is this a php issue/conflict? Has anyone been through this before?

Re: Script For Header I was thinking more of placing it in viewuser.php so then others could see what you were doing. If the user you were viewing was offline, it would say so. Otherwise, it would tell you if they are checking their mail, etc. It would show your in game status to others. A good idea to some, not so good to others I imagine, but it would be neat to see.
