Guest Anonymous
Re: IRC services down If the main IRC services are down, I run a small IRC server as a backup: Server: irc.nyna.co.uk You should be able to connect with the following commands: /server irc.nyna.co.uk /join #ce
Nickson
Re: IRC services down In mean time, all irc services are back (since yesterday evening gmt) - Thank you chenzen :P even the services were down, the irc service could still be used.... it was just a bit different
Guest Anonymous
Re: IRC services down Services may well have been up, but if the main IRC server itself goes down... the services are not much use. My server is not for general use, it was setup purely to provide a backup as the main server early this afternoon. It enables those of us who are in mid conversation of carry it on, and/or discuss possible methods of recovery for the failed server. Nickson
Re: IRC services down Well it seems I have to reconsider what I have posted since it is currently not accepting any connections ...
Guest Anonymous
Re: IRC services down lol - yep, it went south again last night for a few hours - seems the remote host (DarkStar IIRC), was suffering a few minor problems.
