Flash intro's

Now i don't about you guys but i have started to see alot of flash intro's for games out there and to be honest i think there crap i dont like them. they don't fit in the game..yes it explains it but unless it;s done and it actually works with the game and fit's right not standing out to much they look blooming awful.

What do you guys think of them?

no point if u gunna have a flash intro u need a whole flash styled game and i aint seen any of them b4

Flash intros has it's up - and down - sides, if it was created professionally it could have a very good usage.

And I have seen allot of websites getting this right, it explains what the website is about, and most parts of their website makes use of flash.

For games, unless the game was created in flash and is played trough a flash application, it has no real purpose, just a waste of bandwidth.

Yea, i have seen them around aswell...

Im not sure i like them...not even if they do suit the game, they just dont suit if you get me.!

If done well i think they make sense. Well why not have them? If they help people to understand the game better then great :mrgreen:
