Re: football teams

Chelsea For Life !!!

The best team in the world. Everyone will always mention the money but there are many reasons why Chelsea's success has been good for the Premiership.

Anyone involved in football will tell you that you can't buy success. True, Chelsea can spend millions on one player and if he gets injured they can buy another one. But last season when they won the Premiership they did so because they were the best team.

Chelsea's success has meant the rest of the Premiership has had to improve. It says to the other sides: "You are going to have to be cleverer and better to beat the champs."

I think what Chelsea have done, as well as putting a lot of money into the team, is to have picked the right man as manager. Jose Mourinho is the main reason Chelsea are the team they are.

Chelsea are not going to win the league every year from now on, Mourinho is going to find it harder and harder because the other teams are going to improve.

Also Chelsea have got some key players :

Goalkeeper

Starting with the Goalkeepers the first you will look at, is the players profile. Firstly you should look at his age, usually if you looking for a first team keeper you should look for someone who has experience (i would say from around 27-33). Next thing you should look at on the players profile is his height, you need a tall keeper so that he can actually touch the bar , i would say the shortest keeper you should get should be around 5ft 11". Moving onto the attributes, all of the Goalkeeper attributes need to be good for your teams playing level, but try to avoid buying players with a high eccentricity as the keeper will tend to do stupid pointless saves. Of the mental attributes you will need good Bravery as he will not back out off 50-50 balls with Strikers, Concentration is needed as at times the keeper wont be in action for long periods of time, decisions, composure and positioning also help but are not mandatory. From Physical attributes you will need good jumping to help prevent the keeper from being lobbed and agility as you can magine the keeper has to be quite agile.

Role Model- Petr Cech

Full Backs

Full backs tend to be pacey, fit and fast, also young full backs seem to do the job well as they have alot of energy (there is a few exceptions like Cafu and Maldini). On the Technical attributes, the required attribute is good tackling like all defenders, extra attributes that help are good dribbling, passing and crossing. From the mental attributes look for determination, work rate, teamwork and bravery. Off the ball and Decisions also help as sometimes its wise not for the full-back to go forwards. The main attributes for a full back lie in the physical section as agility, natural fitness, pace, stamina and strength are all good characteristics for a natural full back.

Role-Model- A.Cole

Centrebacks

A centre-back really only needs what is needed from one and anything extra doesnt really matter, More Experienced Centre Backs usually do the job better than youngsters. A centre-back needs all these attributes, Heading, Marking, Tackling, Anticipation, Bravery,Composure, Concentration, Influence, Positioning, Teamwork, Work rate, Jumping, Balance and Strength. Pace is another attribute that is needed on at leaston of your centre backs to keep up with the pacey strikers.

Role Model- John Terry

Defensive Midfielders

A Defensive Midfielder is usually a no nonsense player and is always willing to make a pass instantly, also experienced players tend to fit this role as at times there could be alot of pressure to handle. Technical Attributes needed are good first touch, passing, tackling and marking. Generally, his mental stats should be up to standard with good anticipation, bravery, concentration, determination, Positioning, Work-Rate and Teamwork. Also the Physical attributes generally should be good especially Stamina and Strength.

Role Model- Essien

Attacking Midfielders

The two key sections to a successful Attacking Midfielder is good technical and mental Attributes. Technically you look for good dribbling, First Touch, Long Shots, Passing and Technique. Physically you should look for good Anticipation, Creativity, Decisions, determination, Flair, Off the ball and Work Rate. Physically you might need good stamina and fitness.

Role Model- Scholes

Wingers

Wingers are one of the key parts to opening up oppostion defences with there Speed, Dribbling and ability to crossing the killer ball. Younger aged wingers seem to fit the bill well and can help. Techinal Attributes that they posses are good Crossing, corners, Dribbling, First touch, Passing and Technique. The key section is the Mental Section as it needs to be Generally up to scratch. Natural Wingers have good Anticipation, Concentration, Creativity, Determination, Flair, Off the ball and Work Rate. Also Physically good Pace, Stamina, Acceleration and fitness are needed for their none stop running up and down the flanks.

Role Model- Arjen Robben and Cristiano Ronaldo

Strikers

Strikers attributes will vary as their are different types of strikers for various ways of penetrating the defence, one of the first is the Target Man, a good target man is usually tall and strong and can head the ball or bring it down. To tell if a striker is a target man the player will be tall, have good first touch, heading, composure, teamwork, Jumping and strength. Another type of player is a striker who plays off a target man. They usually have good Finishing, First touch, Composure, Determination, Off the Ball, Flair, Acceleration and Pace.

Role Model:

Target Man- Luca Toni or Drogba

Play off target man- Thierry Henry

We are the Chelsea and we are the best we are thee chelsea so f*ck all the rest

Re: football teams

I agree with Legend-Killer, Chelsea are good and money dont make a good team, take Gretna in Scots division 1. 2 years ago they where in div3 but they got some good players and have gone up fast! they where in Europe this season, (lost to an irish team) not bad for a poor team. But it aint fiar that Chelsea can offer 100 mill for Shevechenko. That is outta every other teams league. Ha, shevechenko is shit tho, But no team will ever be as famous as Man U, I mean you see adverts on TV for donating cash to poverty things?? Half the damn people in em are wearing Man U shirts!!!

RANGERS!!

Re: football teams

I admit Man Utd are the most popular team in the world , and shevachenko is good ;)

he will be as good as drogba next season , he needs to settle in , for now sheva plays a atacking midfield sort of , Jose doesnt give him a good position to start , to score goals ...

Villa... LOL ... Selling Baros was a mistake ... Selling Angel to buy Defoe would of been better !!!
