I have not created a script like this..but lemmi give you guys abit of help...dont reply with bullshit!

Ok, When someone uses a proxy, the ip address shows but not any alphabetical characters which signifies that they are not using a proxy or it really shows the ISP they are using..

eg.

PROXY: IP: 90.196.225.** Hostname: 90.196.225 [ There are not letters in there ]

Not Proxy: 90.196.225.** Hostname: 5ac*****.**.***.com [ There are letters in the hostname... ]

So can't you do a cron, which checks each users Net info and if there are not letters / alpha's in there, it bans them...fedjail & ip ban?...

If you don't understand that, post back..I wanna make sure everyone one of us will be able to tackle down proxies...

Proxy ips can be resolved to a hostname too, they just show as a ip if they cannot be resovled to a hostname theres no real way of checking if its a proxy or not. :lol:

Well experiement this, use a proxy to login to your account, check yourNet details...then use it without a proxy...you'l see the difference..

I know they can be resolved to a hostname like some user ip's can't be resolved that will stop nothing, you will likely ban more non-proxy users than proxy ones that way.

Yeah lol nice try tho i think its impossible to block all proxys, best trying to block popular proxy websites.

well has nyone got a code to stop this because i got someone who keeps making users and changes his ip so i crnt ban him

set cookie on users account when he logs in. then when he trys to log in again on another account have it ban status on both accounts automatically.

 

the proxy thing wont work. some play on proxy from business and internal networks thus your going to ban legit players as well. Ive fought the same battle for more then 6 years.

 

Use the above cookie or sessions if you prefer to log the username of the 1st account logged into. then when he/she trys to go in another it bans and removes both.
