CinnamonTwirls Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Hello! I've been a long-time fan of playing web games, especially virtual pet sites. I feel like they have a very unique play style by virtue of being web-based, and I've always wanted to make one of my own, but I have very minimal coding knowledge from just when I was a kid. I was wondering what languages & concepts I should learn about, and where would be a good place to learn them, as I honestly have no idea where to start. I expect it to take quite a few years until my knowledge is enough to start a site, but I want to get started now. Thank you so much :) Quote
Uridium Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 easiest languages to learn are probably HTML PHP easiest way to learn to to download working php files and html files and alter things see what errors pop up and remember how to fix them Quote
