im not sure if its the engine or the server im using, i installed the engine but then i go to the website and it just comes up with an index page and all of the files that are on the website?

is there an index.php in your filemanager online? and or a login.php?

are the files installed directly into public_html? Not inside a folder in public_html?

yeah, theyre just files in public_html not in a folder

okay well first off, what engine are you using and what server are you on?

im using mccodes v2 and i dont know what server im on :S

are you hosting with a free host or a paid host? and are you sure you deleted the previous files in the public_html, if there were any, like a second index page etc?

it could be the permission is not allowing the file to be read check your permission to that file and make sure "read" is checked.

then make sure it is the only index.php in your ftp

im using x10hosting.com and the permissions are fine

submit a ticket if your using a free hosting, sometime x10hosting requires you to browse their forum, so that may be the reason, I however have not used them in awhile can't remember if that is still part of their free hosting requirements. You don't have to post in the forums just browse a topic then go back to your website and see if it is normal afterwards.
