make v2 mods compatible with v2.5.

I am new to this and i am wondering if there is any posts or anyone that might be able to please help me out and give me a good example to use to mod v2 mods to v2.5. All the help i can get would be great thank you . I am liking what i have seen so far from this forum and mccode.
