jaymo Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I'm working on a project called Shadow Chaos and basically its a game where you create a world and you are God and you have a Leation army you need to train to defend itself against the Shadow Lords. The game revolves around actions you can do to the world and worship points you spend to do things to the world. You have good and bad actions to do and they do the following: GOOD ACTIONS - Give you more worship points to spend - Makes the Leations happier and develop faster BAD ACTIONS - Lose Worship points - Makes Leations stronger - Gains intelligence - Effects the population These aren't the final ideas but they are generally what its about. You can also do these things: - Invade other peoples worlds: i. If your world is better developed e.g. Higher population, Stronger, More Intelligent, you will: win the invasion, gain worship points but lower population and they will have a dramatically lower population and their morale will decrease. - Become an Overlord (Premium) and your world will develop faster and you will have double worship points (More bonuses to be added) - Do quests in story mode to unlock achievements WORSHIP POINTS - Spend on weapons for Leations (Percent Strength Bonus) - Spend on armour for Leations (Percent Defence Bonus) - Spend on Food (Replenishes Hunger) - Spend on Clean Water (Replenishes Thirst) - Spend on Seeds (Makes Leations Happier) - Spend on good and bad actions (They get more expensive for each one) - Spend to rename world - Spend Points to invade other worlds (Possiblility, This may not work or might not be implemented) I will post more updates in the game here but you can watch a youtube vid of me explaining kinda the same styff here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixssNkfwT6o Thanks Quote
sniko Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I watched the video, and i actually think, if all goes to plan, you will have a good simulator/game and I think it will grow a friendly user-base. Keep at it! Quote
jaymo Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 thanks, I didn't really want to make a mafia/crime game anyways as I have made a few in the past and this game is from scratch, no framework/engines used :) Quote
gurpreet Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 That's very nice! I used to love playing games like these, and they used to have thousands of active players daily. Keep it up! Quote
