rulerofzu Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Sorry but dont post it if you dont want criticism. Why would you or anyone really want to use it. Quote
rulerofzu Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 No need to use the javascript. No need to use a index.html file Nothing that couldnt be done in the login.php file any way. CSS should be kept seperate There is no real thought behind it at all. All you have done is get an image and put a form over the top. Quote
bineye Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I have to agree. The section around the form does not belong with the image used. I can't understand that Quote
Ecko Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 nope i havnt , i have made it in photoshop , and used brush for the tank , and done other customisation , not 1 image so your wrong , i could send you the .psd if you want and also this is a free modification and my first , the more experience the more better you get and you have to start somwhere , i have seen worse logins . this is for people that dont want to pay for high quality layouts . i can see that you wouldnt need this as you have got a good payed layout. rulerofzu Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I dont care if it was pieced from 1000 images its still not very good. Really.... How hard is it to download a brush, install, start photoshop, open a background image. open the brush and click. Wow that was hard work. As for the rest. The soldier. You have pemission to use it? Sorry do you expect to be given praise as you have supplied it free? Its not a modification. Its a badly made image with a badly styled css login form using javascript for god knows why. 1 Quote
Ecko Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 im not really bothered if you dont like it , this was the starting i made , its the first , get it into your head that your first try at something is not alway !superb! if someone wants to use it they will , dont really need or want your input . W3Theory || Peter Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 There are definitely errors to improve, but it is good to see that you are jumping into the field without asking for help on anything. My advice which you sort of took, was to post it up and see what other people will do differently. Which means a high end of criticism. I find criticism to be powerful and knowledgeable, sometimes no as people will just say anything. So good job on at least trying it out, keep up the work. Quote
W3Theory || Peter Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Though I would give credit where it is needed, it such as the brushes you used (as that is a big part of the template), the top image you used off of georges template. It's nice that you are trying, but since you are giving this out for free, you should credit the people that you took from or helped you through it. Quote
Ecko Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 ok thanks peter , i will edit my post and give credit to george as the header is from his template Quote
chicka Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Ecko if you don't want people criticizing your work I would suggest not posting it up. The hole point of posting what you do or did is to get feed back. weather it be positive or negative take it all into consideration and improve your skills.. Your work was not the best how ever with some time and effort your skills will improve. Don't give up because of the negative comments. If your going to take advice from someone I would highly recommend Peter. He does amazing work.. Quote
W3Theory || Peter Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Thanks Chicka I appreciate that, my advice to you on the template it self. Is you really never want a cutter at the bottom. You want to leave the footer being able to repeat in case some computers have a higher resolution and so you want the whole template to flow and not look choppy. Quote
Ecko Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 ok thanks chicka and peter for your advice , and i have seen peters templates , amazing work!! , yep i will put a footer on my work from now on. Quote
Uridium Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 As Ecko mentioned you have to start somewhere we wasnt all good at what we do but as time went by we progressed so for me Keep up the good work Ecko Quote
