You would be fine about that wouldnt say anything and let it stay even though its directly related?

Common sense dictates otherwise doesnt it.

I would say it's generally not a nice behavior to go somewhere and advertise something which is related to the business. For example going to Mac Donald's and advertising there Burger King would be... certainly not welcome. Same applies here ;)

We have a couple of rules we want to ensure, not saying you wen against all ;) :

- Multiple posts about the same content / idea / site or whatever

- Bump your thread in short time

- Of topic post (here we are not that picky)

- Advert other forums which clearly are related to the same "business" as MWG.

- Spam

- Flaming

- Illegal activities / softwares

Maybe you fell in one? Think about it.

Every one would be welcome to do that yes! It's not as if we are stealing people from this forum to that forum or so on and i don't see the problem if it's still advertising mccodes mods and this forum.

To use that as an example is ridiculous! that is common sense... This however is not a business as such that is making huge amounts of money and my forum does not or will not generate any money! especially from MWG's users. That i would say we are not businesses!

I understand now you don't like ME advertising here and i will not do that anymore, I was only trying to make it easier for people to download the free mods and also create a section for paid mods for the sellers to advertise their own web sites etc etc.

The forums, as i said earlier was what i started out with and then decided to use a cms which i have nearly set up. And with heaps of advertisements and link backs to both MMcodes and MWG's as well as every mod developers web sites.

I am sorry to have upset a few people here, Obviously! and as this is not my thread i will stop replying in here.

mwg is a business, so is yours, profit, or non-profit.

p_T_s: this has nothing to do with you specifically, it is simply exactly like the example I gave. It's normal that you will advertise concurrent directly end of story. If this site make huge amount of money? Then I shall see it as I never saw any money from it. I'm not payed for, nor any of the moderators. Also, even if this was gaining money and yours not it would change nothing.
