$-Chinion-$ Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Well like some things in life, they die out and nobody uses them anymore. How long do you think it will be before people stop playing/making games? Mccodes or any other kind!? Quote
rulerofzu Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 It wont. I was playing games on my zx spectrum and before that lcd games on various hand held devices. Hell there was even popular number games on calculators as that is all we had. Everything evolves so does gaming and the older tech just gets cheaper until its no longer required. Internet gaming is still pretty much an infant It will just keep getting better as faster tech and faster end user broadband speeds keep getting rolled out. Quote
Dominion Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 As said above it will over time evolve, however I think the time of generic mccodes based games has long since passed. If there is no customization the chances of gaining members is next to nothing. Quote
JohnGato Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I dont think the gaming industry will ever end. It will just get better and better in the future. Some one will come along and create new things that will keep up with changing technology. I mean come on the industry makes billions and billions each year. The small time game owners like most of us will just have to adapt to it. I am just starting out with my gaming career at 35 and have alot to learn but I think I can make my mark eventually.... Quote
