scorpiic venom Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 well am thinking of making a game which is not like mccodes but similar thing to do what i mean is instead of just clicking i want to give user's some gaming experience and make it like a bit graphical 2d movement or 3d well a bit like runescape but not exact as it will take a looong time to do that i am getting into a bit of C/C++ learning so basically i want the game to be a bit like runescape where there are minigames for for some solid items which can't be bought on the game only you can win it so this way user's can be intrested and show off to other that they are good and this just triggers other user's to try it as well and like quest/mission to do to equip certain weapons an get access to certain cities or area in game also it will require alot of jquery's/css for the style of laying out the linking buttons to different places say liek in mccodes there will be a link in words saying Explore but in this idea something like a tabe with a little symbol showing a meaning of explore it will be real life experience not like something where you just attack 1 hit and you win it will take several things like you need to gain atleast alot of strength of whatever to atleast win this monster in the minigame also i am thinking of doing something like instead of strength , guard etc...just like going to gym and getting ranked i want like you attack things to train them stats and after getting certain eXP you gain a level in the skill you trained and the highest level to gain is level 100 or (w.e.) i know it is long but i will make a start i got a team which are helping me in this just posted this to just see what you guys think btw if you have not heard of runescape visit the link sign up and have a go at the game...(http//:http://www.runescape.com) Quote

Now, what I did use is PHP, JS, HTML, CSS and MySQL The chat is C# / JS Took me about 5 years to reach what you will see there. Quote
scorpiic venom Posted March 5, 2011 Author Posted March 5, 2011 well looks like i have a change of plan since doing 2D/3d movement will take me years i just thought let me run it on mccodes change the them around make it look graphical ans just like add more graphic then just simple test and click still ill add some more thing so its not just a clicking game basically all am doing it just taking my 2d movement plan out keeping rest same and going to run it on mccodes V2 script after finishing people wount if notice that it runs on mccode :) well wish me gl to finish quick also i am soon after finishing going to purchase the licence then it is under legal so there aint no problems ...:) :) well soon i might be looking for people to help me in this so play if intrested teaming up then just post below or Pm me what you can do and we go from there....i already have another team but we are busy on a nother project is well so i said let em focus on my project and ill help you when you need anything so really my other team are kind of buy so i need another team Quote

As you stated you are busy with the other project so why have a second team going and not just finish the first project? To me it sounds like you are trying to find a way to publish something. Trust me from past experience this doesn't work out well. I have learned to take time and patient on projects. Quote

scorpiic venom Posted March 7, 2011 Author Posted March 7, 2011 Kieran-R are you talking about me well if you are then i would like to say that i dont run the team and you have not spoke to me befpre so... and the team owner's are Dreamcoder and one of his freind also i know a_bertrand and w3 theroy what you guys are thinking " that this guy is learning so many things at once and also he got so many confusuing idea's well basically i didnt say am learning them at once i just sai i am learning them one by one coz as a_bertrand said learning all at once = learnt nothing so it will take me a few good years to be atleast 80% successfull in these coding languages but the years are worth it and also w3 theory just wanted to say i know i should finish one project first when am in it but the only reason am taking 2 projects is because my other teamhas alot of members all i do for the team is Graphic design's and probz coding Mods or other when asked also ill be helping with our Engine which is in progress by advertising and layouts/graphic/mods etc.. alot more but they wount really take me long to do like for example for a good piece of work like a Mod it will take me roughly 3-4 Hours to just finish check several times thats it secure etc.. the reason i am doing my other own project is because its not like am going to be asked like 24/7 to do some thing i will have free time so in that free time why not do something for my self so thats why i took on a new project for my self well it wount be confusing for me but will be tiring and also just a little update on my project plan this is going to based on Army/wars etc.. and my team project is based on Alien/and planet life (should be a interesting story line) :rolleyes: well if you still have conofusion just post what you think is right for me and how things should work (BTW MIGHT BE SPELLING MISTAKES AND SOME SENTENCES THAT DONT MAKE SENSE REASON BECAUSE I WAS TYPING FAST) Quote

Why is having people you work with sign a contract funny? Unless I am missing something here normally having a signed, and legally binding deal would only serve you if anything went wrong...
