Spudinski
Windows vs. Linux. *sigh* Linux for an server environment is really good, it's solid, it's popular and has allot of support. Windows, I have absolutely no knowledge of win server, and even if I do, I deny it.

Spudinski
Oh, sorry I did not know you wanted to know that. I would say, in my opinion, the minimum requirements would be: Space: 100MB DB Space: 50MB Number of DB's: 1 Bandwidth: 1GB ------------------ Line speed: 10Mbps Dedicated IP: no ------------------ Apache: 2.x with extensions: none PHP version: 4.x with extensions: php_gd, php_crypt MySQL: 5.x Rails: No pgSQL: No SQL Lite: No Perl: No I'm not going to go into more depth than that, the rest is really not important.
