Blade Maker Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Just wondering if I were to make a trap system where a player can buy a claymore or something and sets it on a certain page, the next person to go there dies from the claymore, or some robbery trap. If this was well made how many of you would buy this for $2? Quote
Jaaaacccckkk Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I'm sure someone has already made this? Quote
Danny696 Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I belive someone requested it, but it wasn't made. Quote
Blade Maker Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 Well I think I will make this if anyone would buy it? Quote
Dominion Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 hi there take a look here - [mccode v2.x] Claymores on certain pages! The feedback may help you. As for you making the mod i thought you were taking some time before doing paid mods? Quote
Blade Maker Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 Yeah I do not know, I just thought this was a good idea. Quote
Dominion Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Well why not make it and ask someone to check it over before you sell it? The mod is not a bad concept, however it would need to be made in such a way so it works well for the people using the claymore and does not annoy to many members. Quote
Maniak Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Just curious as to how YOU would go about checking to see if there was a claymore on that specific page? Quote
Maniak Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Yeah, but I mean would he have a if() on every page.. I know I wouldn't do that. Quote
Dominion Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 no you could do it using one if() in a page like globals in the same way the "secure demo" mod works. ask the page name, check the database, go off it theres a trap set for that user. Quote
Dominion Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 That's the way i'd do it dominion (: Well if you give it ago make sure everything is optimized. I can see someone taking that idea doing it wrong and making there site very slow. Quote

Yeah that is exactly how I wanted/want to make it. I have learned about different codes and there speeds so I think this will be a good mod, not to hard, but not to simple. Quote
Jordan Palmer Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 A quick query, A simple if... If you PM me your IM I will provide indepth help through there. Quote
