Haunted Dawg Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Also, why waiste $2,000.00 when you can get easily 15k members in a month with less than $300? And about 9k of those 15k member's are active. You get about 2k daily active and around 200 online at any given time? So, maybe just view outside the box before you invest into advertising. Many game owner's think that going to ad site's work, but in the long run, there will alway's be a better game than your's on that ad's site, so who will the member's go to? The better site. you show me your website getting 15k members and 9k active for 300 bucks and ill believe you but till then i think your maybe exaggerating a little. I know you werent around when i co owned deadlyhustle.net, go ask around, even yet, go ask mike how many member's i had online daily and hourly even 15 minute's. In 15 minute's i had around 80 online, and that was just spending $50. Don't want to believe me? Don't, but dont be suprised and ask how when i do achieve it again. Quote
Haunted Dawg Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I never posted to gloat, i was just saying that who ever goes and throws out $2,000.00 on advertising is just throwing away their money. Why not rather give me $500 and you shall see what can be done. I can achieve those member's again, and again, and again, but, i wont do it now as the next time it shall be run on deadlykillah. Give me 2 month's to finish deadlykillah.net and you shall see. Quote
Renkia Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 Ok cheers guys, sorry for the late response. Now Haunted Dawg You have a very good point and your spot on. All tho i wouldnt spend near enough £2000 on advertising. Fot the person who said this but making fan pages on facebook and bebo or what ever is a good way to be honest. And free. :P To hear that advertising is so much im thinking of a plan for my school. Loads of people play Texted Based RPG, so this could be an big way to advertise. But more ideas to come. ?( Regards, Rasheed Saeed - Renkia Quote
Zero-Affect Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Not a bad idea, get photoshop do up a sweet leaflet and simply leave them in your library on the keyboards... and hand them out (get popular people to hand them out and bung them a fiver or something). Quote
Haunted Dawg Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Why not rather give me $500 and you shall see what can be done.i thought it was $300.00, is the $200.00 extra your payment (if so wow so that's 2/3 of the original price for you personally a bit steep don't you think?). Yes it would be my payment, as due to my record's you can make easily $2,000 a month alone of $100. So imagine $300 that's easily $4,000 a month. So why will i not want to make profit? Quote
AlabamaHit Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 lol of course he don't. Your better off gettting the professionals to do it with the $2K. If he knew how to make 1K a month off $100 he would have 'never' stopped running a game. For the simple fact he would be a very rich man by now, probarly in the millions of dollars. So no I don't belive that and will never belive that. Any 'free' advertising will get members but with free there is alot of compatition so you will not get many if any members. Just my 2cents. Quote

Yep i was hoping to do that. I Work with GIMP so i could do it at home, upload to tinypic, open my HOTMAIL in school grab link and paste in colour. Plus another way would be to advertise on SOL (SamuraiofLegend) I Havnt spoke to the owner about this but hopfully he will say yes. Plus the features are better. 760,000 Players. A Certin amount a cost a month & Would last longer. Plus i have a friend who owns a hosting he will gladly let me make a banner for an advertisment and post on his hosting. And leaving posters in books Zero, You cheaky sod. :P Regards, Rasheed Saeed - Renkia Quote
Zero-Affect Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 No one reads books these days (i said on keyboards). Quote
Haunted Dawg Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 You'd be guaranteed around $500+ a month off just $300. Quote
