Coly010 Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 hey guys my game is crossfire.pcriot.com as you may have noticed i dont have a full domain but i dont mind about that at the moment. what i really need is a good template for my game. i need it to suit it and if you could for free. i wont pay for anything sorry. my game is going to have 8 realms and 1 boss in each realm. after you defeat that boss you can go to the next realm. it is set in the past. but as you move up realms it gets closer to the present then the future. thank you for your help!:) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Redex Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 Hello I'm Redex. Replying to your post, i would like to clarify, making a template is not a quick job. As far as my knowledge goes, it requires you to have knowledge of languages such as Css ( cascading style sheets ) Php, HTML. Once you have the knowledge them, you will have too familiarize yourself with how to integrate that header with McCodes. Well, as you can see to make a header.php for yourself, you will have to spend time learning these languages and learning them well. Please, if you decide to take my advice, do not try to rush it so you can implement it into your game, take time and go through each language and make you sure your clearly understand the main bits. After that, try search for some of the things you don't understand in Manuals. Example : http://www.php.net/ is the manual for php, after that you can Google, for other manuals. I would advise you, if you decide to learn the 3 languages posted above then, postpone your current project for at least a year and maybe more becuase after that, if you're familiar with the three languages you have a better chance, in progressing at a faster pace with your game. The reason, why i say this is becuase the manual explains everything in a more complex way in my opinion, so after you understand more then you can go read the manual. Also the fact that you could visit http://www.themebot.org <-- .net .com what ever the heck it is and modify one your self.
