Always used crimson editor but switched to notepad++ (following the crowd) but sorry for notepad++ I switched back since a week to crimson editor, I simply find it so much better for what I need it.

I think crimson offers the ability to choose files from the left hand side which is a great addition. Notepad ++ (to my knowledge) doesn't offer this.

I find dreamweaver is very useful when compiling layouts from photoshop. I find its reliable no matter what you need it to do.

depending on what kind of script, I use various development environments. Openkomdo/Komodo Edit, visual studio and intellij idea are the ones I use.

First off, they sound like all windows editors and that's sucky! :)

Lately, for coding, I'm mostly using Eclipse and Netbeans. If its just a quick edit its either JOE or Gedit.
