The script does a check with the votinggateway.

It uses a random hash to verify if the vote was correct.

If the person does not vote at all: no vote is rewarded.

if the person clicks vote and doesn't fill captcha on voting site: no vote is rewarded.

If the person tries to cheat on the system by injecting more votes into the voting system, it will detect the fraud since his daily vote has been claimed. only this kind of sneaky behaviour is 'rewarded' with a fedjail of 3 days for cheating on the voting system.

they can't actually 'do' it.. that is blocked. there is no way that somebody can fake a vote.

but the voting sites display the url used to validate the vote. i can't stop a user from trying to manipulate that. i can only make sure they don't succeed ;)

it will teach them lesson not to try it again.

ah well.. i just came up with 1 way they can actually try and blocking it now.. be right back ;)

the user can be mister smartypants, so also adding a random hash to the incentive url on the side of the voting gateway. this way the user will not see the full random hash either.

also adding the display of incentive url in the backend for easy copy paste :)

So no one can do a fake vote?

What about if i copyed the url and done it VIA proxy :)

the url is created when they vote and contains a random hash.

using a proxy is no use since the script only creates 1 hash per day and can only be used on the spot. yes, they can retrieve the hash from the url and then manipulate it so they pass by the captcha.

however, this will be more work then typing in a captcha.

once a 'transaction' is completed with the voting gateway, the script will not accept a copy from a proxy or anywhere. the transaction is 'completed' and is locked by database.

Nothing to do with the ip.

i added a check to see if the gateway is currently off-/online to prevent votes being counted when a vote gateway is offline.

script now fully supports 2 types of voting, with incentive linkback or normal.

I added a fully administrable votingshop in the script.

you can add packages to it (crystals,cash or items).. bit like airmiles.

you decided the price in votetokens and how many of the item/cash/crystals is given out.

script is now a laugh for this price ;)

(and even for free if you have a large site and can advertise my game)

i've purchased this and not had chance to install yet as going to use it on a new game i am creating...

read through the coding and so far looks very impressive and well coded...

will update more later when i get chance to install and test out :)

Now installed this script and i have to say this is a ridiculous price for this mod...

The coding is top notch, his support is fantastic...

this script is a BARGAIN at this price...

i love the idea of the vote shop where they can spend their tokens earnt from voting properly...

what might be a nice addition for this would be to add a log of what people are buying with the tokens ;)

i'm coding a log in so if you want i will send it you when i have done it so you can parcel it up with the mod ;)

Ok where do i start

First of all this is an excellent script that makes life hell of alot easier to add voting sites and rewards

Secondly this guy is amazingly helpfull, helped me with a problem that didnt even have anything to do with his mod

Also i have just recieved a update for this mod
