Automate 6 being used for Cron tasks. I'm using Automate 6. Is overkill for the task. Buts its what I eventually got to work for me..

Xampp I'd suggest trying XAMPP .. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html Includes web server, mySQL and PHP 5.. quick and stimple all in one shot. Works fine for me. Had to use a third party app for Cron Jobs, but other than that, it was all in one install.
