We’re the team behind NexusRPG, a persistent, text-based fantasy MMORPG that runs entirely in the browser. The full web release went live on 4 September, and we’d like to introduce it to other PBBG players and developers here.
One character can switch between eight classes through main-hand and off-hand equipment. Your character, inventory and progression stay with you, so changing class means trying a different build rather than starting a new account.
What you can do:
Fight for equipment, develop your stats and work through dungeons with saved progression.
Gather resources and craft gems for your builds.
Collect and develop Pets, buy and sell on the player market, and take on quests and Contracts.
Build a shared Clan Capital and lend equipment through the Clan Armory. Kingdoms remain a separate part of the game.
Our 28 September update focuses on making a long-lived character easier to navigate. The Quest Journal now brings recommended goals, Journeys, Class Mastery and Contracts together with clearer requirements and next steps.
We also added solo Class Mastery paths: they do not require PvP opponents, organised Clan Dungeons or landing the final hit on a public boss. Existing players keep their old paths until they choose to switch. Long profession journeys award Wildwarden and Forgekin, permanent companions for Gathering and Gem Crafting.

The game is in English and works in desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. A verified-email account and an internet connection are required. It is free-to-play with optional purchases and Supporter benefits that can affect progression; the 30-day Nexus Pass is prepaid and does not automatically renew.
The Battle screenshot shows an established level-684 character, not a new player’s starting values. The second image is the current Quest Journal. We’d be interested in feedback on how clearly the guide explains the class-switching system and what to do first.
