11 October updates — a shared Dungeon Rift, Tool finds and four Potion shortcuts
New Tools found through stronger monsters, World Chests, Contracts and Pet Equipment Search can use stronger profession designs. Their design, rarity and quality are fixed when found; existing Tools and already locked rewards keep their original stats. Crafted Tools retain their full potential, while field-found versions have reduced Gathering ratings. Aetherforged Tools remain crafting-only and the two-second Gathering floor is unchanged.
The later October 11 update expands the Crafting sidebar to four saved Potion shortcuts, numbered 1–4 on the Alchemy row. Configure each with the settings gear. Hover, or tap the information on mobile, to see the assigned Potion, exact bonus, duration and stock. Use your saved choices without leaving your current activity.
Each new shared Dungeon Rift has independently random width and height of 10–100 tiles, with 15–50 monsters per regular combat or Chest tile. Regular Chests occupy about 8% of the maze and Boss-guarded Grand Chests about 2%. Already opened mazes retain their layout and loot. It has a 5% chance when an automatic Rift opens, lasts one hour and can be entered from anywhere while open. Monsters give no Character XP or Gold, but successful fights can improve Dungeoneering. The last guarding monster’s killer claims each Chest.
The highest monster-kill total at closing earns one level-matched Legendary Equipment item. The winner’s Clan also receives a Legendary Pet if its Pet Sanctuary has free space. Ties favour the first to reach the total; standings stay hidden until closing. Unclaimed loot disappears on closure, while awarded loot remains yours.

The web version of NexusRPG is for adults aged 18 and over.
3 October update — Class Abilities & Beginner Adventures
Every complete Class now has an automatic signature ability from Character Level 1. Changing your hand pairing changes the ability, and manual Battle, Auto and Rage use it without an extra button.
The guided introduction now remembers proven earlier actions and points to an action you can perform. New Equipment gets a clearer comparison and Equip shortcut, while low-cost Class hand recipes are available from Level 2. The private Burrow Guardian offers a one-time beginner challenge.

We’re the team behind NexusRPG, a persistent, text-based fantasy MMORPG that runs entirely in the browser. The full web release went live on 4 September, and we’d like to introduce it to other PBBG players and developers here.
One character can switch between eight classes through main-hand and off-hand equipment. Your character, inventory and progression stay with you, so changing class means trying a different build rather than starting a new account.
What you can do:
Fight for equipment, develop your stats and work through dungeons with saved progression.
Gather resources and craft gems for your builds.
Collect and develop Pets, buy and sell on the player market, and take on quests and Contracts.
Build a shared Clan Capital and lend equipment through the Clan Armory. Kingdoms remain a separate part of the game.
Our 28 September update focuses on making a long-lived character easier to navigate. The Quest Journal now brings recommended goals, Journeys, Class Mastery and Contracts together with clearer requirements and next steps.
We also added solo Class Mastery paths: they do not require PvP opponents, organised Clan Dungeons or landing the final hit on a public boss. Existing players keep their old paths until they choose to switch. Long profession journeys award Wildwarden and Forgekin, permanent companions for Gathering and Gem Crafting.

The game is in English and works in desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. A verified-email account and an internet connection are required. It is free-to-play with optional purchases and Supporter benefits that can affect progression; the 30-day Nexus Pass is prepaid and does not automatically renew.
The Battle screenshot shows an established level-684 character, not a new player’s starting values. The second image is the current Quest Journal. We’d be interested in feedback on how clearly the guide explains the class-switching system and what to do first.
