    Validation is a very important aspect of web development, as it helps you clean the errors, and hopefully make your webpage look the same in each browser. Try downloading the firefox addon - Web Developer Toolbar -- (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60) Or even Validating your pages online.... -- (http://validator.w3.org/) -- for HTML code. And... (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/) -- for CSS code.

If there is a cross, click it, and find out the errors on your page. Or simply go to..... http://validator.w3.org/ - and valitade your html... Or ..... http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ - to validate you CSS!
