I understand your concern. There are several games out there that use the same template (unfortunately the original creator sold several copies of the game) but ruthlesscity.com was the original game created several years ago.

I am the owner of ruthlesscity.com (Will) and I do not have enough time to run RC anymore how I would like to. I have spent a lot of time editing the game and bringing in players. I highly doubt it. I created and implemented the chat myself... So unless someone stole it illegally from my site, no it should not have the chat.

Well they may already be fixed. Martin wouldnt sell a bugged game i dont think. But if some things need to be fixed I would be happy to help for not much in return.

well i am not sure how much the script he is giving you is bugged... but the original the companies did not work properly with payouts and such. Similar bugs with other things

The layout is the same.. But the background is different, the side menu has a different theme to it, factions, companies, turfwars, and traveling have all been changed. Also a ton of updates and new things have been added.

Yes the crons are easy to set up for sure.

Yes RC uses crons for the five minute graft, 10/15 energy, hourly, daily, and weekly. As well as separate files for companies.

Good thing I already have the license and the original domain :P Make sure you remove the RC name from everything unless you want people flocking to my game seeing my game's name everywhere :D

I am Will, the owner of RC. Parts of the game do resemble McCodes and ideas may have been taken from them (i do not know, I am the third owner and did not make the game, just modified it a lot) but to anyone out there trying to buy/sell the engine, ICC is the only person who has legal rights to sell the engine.
