So recently i've made a thread and given a very bad impression. I would like to apologize for my actions and my attitude, i guess pretending to be someone that your not can give a bad impression. I've acted in a rude manor that's abnormal for some people, the way I express my opinions although everyone is entitled to there own say, mine seems to irritate and turn people off mainly because of the attitude that's behind my opinions, Most people on this forum believe im a brute arrogant person and tbh it's not a nice thing to be called, especially when you've given the wrong impression and your only trying to promote yourself to the world, my biggest sorry goes out to [MENTION=65530]Coly010[/MENTION] although he dislikes me on this, he did help me when i did require help, he even gave his own time just for me and i really appreciate him for this. I'd also like to say sorry to [MENTION=64603]Sim[/MENTION] for my arrogance, tbh im more cocky than him but in a bad way i think he knows what im on about. :p. Basically i'm sorry for the way i've gone on, its not on and tbh it's been a great learning experience since day 1 for me and my recent post made me realize not everything can be done on my own without getting/learning knowledge from those who are more experienced than us. Think about it sharing your ideas could help someone in the future and who knows like [MENTION=65530]Coly010[/MENTION] said you could get a chunk of that 500k investment :), i've learned my lesson and hopefully i can mend things with people and start fresh with you guys. I'f i leave im a fool "why?" because criticism is a part of life and it's the only way a person may improve at something and hopefully improve me as a person if need so. Sorry guys :confused:

The point of this post was to get negativity as stated! I'm not running away and i've taken all the criticism so i can improve not only as a developer but as a person. It doesn't bother me when you guys make points there only your opinions, I can always back myself up and i guess your opinions are your opinions and no ones judging you. This is a learning experience for me and some people can take criticism better than others.

I did't compare him to Pete workwise, I said maybe he could setup a site like Pete's where he could create or practice some css & html and show us here that's not hard! Yes he may have the knowledge but not the experience, So it would be best to show us what he can currently do. That's my opinion and i stick by it firmly

The login and register wasn't just the design and yes every is entitled to there own opinion but the login and register consists of the design and 3 php files and a js file for it to work. If the client only wanted the design and charge extremely low, but the fact the client wanted more than just a design i charged more, everyone may not agree but I was happy and so was the client

Its selling for 20$ because its released to the public, you don't expect me to sell me services for 20$ or pounds unless It was being released to the general public, so in this particular case i don't agree, plus that login doesn't fit my taste although you could say the same about mine, mine was coded based upon the clients request, and its unique so no one else has it

Thank you, It was and only will be for a single client, likewise if i did release it to the public i'd probably sell for 45 pounds or lower, but i charged what i charged based on the time it took me and the clients requests

When i saw this i laughed. Seeing that your offering "FREE" work, if people were to ask for your services sorry "FREE" services you'd have quite alot of work to do and the fact that your not getting paid for any of your labour nor have you work to show gives me a chilling feeling, However if i we're in your situation id build a network site like @W3theory and show you designs and potential there, because atm you haven't interested me(barely). Try something like that :)

Simple IPN would do this i believe this comes with mccodes already if that's what your engine is built on otherwise it can be coded for you here

I think you have something like this in your login that redirects to maintenance.php or something similar exit(header("location: /maintenance.php")); My advice if you didn't want to post the code, would be to remove that line of code or put it in comments like this //exit(header("location: /maintenance.php")); Hope this helps

[MENTION=65530]Coly010[/MENTION] i'm not giving you an attitude and let me stop you there firstly you say and i quote " You should be trying to build your reputation up a bit, and throwing in a few free extras that add value to the service your providing" i did provide a few extra firstly instead of using external pages I loaded everything on the one page i also gave the client Ajax forms, now the client didn't ask for any of this and gave me very little info infact too little info, i'm here to show my work and all of you are going off topic complaining about the use of JavaScript etc. I've seen people post here and no one is complaining about the use of javascript and what i don't get is why i can't post my work here without people arguing, not over the login but over the language thats being used XD. The client didn't give me much details on what he wanted, I was told to build a login and register with a grey background image and I just added features to spice the login up, there's nothing wrong with using Javascript nor is there anything wrong with using divs instead of external pages what matters and the end of the day is making my client happy, you guys can argue all day and try and criticize me, I'll just fire back no problem :), if my client in time decides he wants external pages when users disable js than that's fine, he'll just pay an extra fee i've time, im only 16 and im self thought and open to learning new things, I also like improving my correct work and [MENTION=50378]Guest[/MENTION] i'll take your technique for loading divs in mind next time I make something like this so i'd like to say thank you for that and you too [MENTION=65530]Coly010[/MENTION] i'll also takeyour technique for the slider in mind also but guys im still learning i don't know about you guys but im content with what i've said

I do what the client requests, If they then request the site to work without js they'll just have to pay the extra fee for it to work simple
