  1. Bertrand - well I didn't see the point of having no access to the modules section. This is what attracted me to EZRPG, seed so restrictive. If you did make the free version have access then what would be the point of the $20 dev version? Also, does having the dev version allow me to use the script for many or my domains or am I limited to one domain? Bertrand - you also sent me an Email just now saying you are no longer developing NWE? You are sort of throwing me off here, then why do you still have it so costly? Kyle, thank you so much for you offer, please first if someone can answer the questions then I will know what to do since I want to run many turn based games so once I settle on one engine I want to go really in depth with it.

  3. Thank you. That did the trick and the error is gone so it functions, however while you were gone I got looking at EZRPG especially because the modules could be attached for free, I believe for yours I would have to get at least the $20 version and then pay again for each module I wanted to add on?. I also tried updating via the prompt that said I did not have the latest version and got a whole bunch of error messages. So I have to decide between the two.

  6. Hmmm.... I may have to take a closer look at this! Are you just a user of it or part of the project? Is there an 'explore' module? Basically it allows you to have random things happen every time you explore - like you find something or you fight something.
  7. I do like the simple style to begin with. I didn't realize there were modules to add on, but are those modules secure? I know the source code can be good and then you add a module that opens it up for hacking.

  9. Aventro - I checked the links but its bare, I need something with more to it. I saw screen shots of a legacy version and thought it might be something like that. Guest - you didn't answer my earlier question.
  10. How is security with it? Can it be easily changed to another genre rather than just mafia related?
  11. I was looking at that but it seemed to have a start-stop trend and only now making a come back again. All the demo links are down, at least the ones in Google code. How is security with it and is it easily customizable? Yes, as I said, install was flawless - no errors shown.
  12. What about his code don't you like? So what game engine will you prefer for turn based play even if it may not be to your total liking?
  13. Must be a conspiracy to get you to buy the paid ones lol I thought about comment out the lines, but that seemed to be too easy, if something is wrong from the beginning I rather know what it is. @Guest - do I take it that you don't like his code?

  15. One of the reasons I chose to go with this engine was the emphasis on security, I hope I didn't choose wrong, seems like a bad way to start.

  17. I've been trying to find a good game engine to start designing a game. After reading and searching for days I decided to go with NWE. After downloading and installing the free version the install was flawless, BUT...
