  1. Again you speak about your resume as if you have something to prove yet you claim you have absolutely nothing to prove then why do you keep mentioning your resume when no one is challenging it, well I'm not anyway. I did not challenge your abilities as a coder, I just gave you my opinion of yourself as you gave your opinion of a friend of mine who I believe to be a decent person and I never said that "I know you" all I technically said is "I have created an opinion of you based on your actions on this forum" I do not know you in the world world and based on the impression of you I got here nor would I. Therefor the "hate" as you call it is not pointless and retarded as it has a strong foundation.
  2. CavellA, I base my opinions which I am entitled to on your comments and your attitude towards other people and i have personally determined (without direct input from anyone) that you are not someone that I would work with as you have no decency or professionalism towards anyone as far as I can see, if I was to work with you I would expect daily headache and possibly even the thought of getting scammed by you, and that is based solely on how I see you conduct yourself. The Visiolist developer Basti is a really nice guy and I respect him because he is an honest and professional guy, even "if" his code was complete trash I would take him over you any day as you are a problematic person in general and working with you would be a nightmare. And for the record I have not bashed your "coding" skills as I have not seen them therefore I said nothing about them so I do not see why you would mention them in this thread, but I assume you are trying to prove something but it is irrelevant to me.
  3. Yep you are right, trash is still trash, just like your reputation.
  4. Just a little update for the flamers, Visiolist is now clear of any malware :)
  5. I've been using Visiolist for the past year, never had any problems. FF and all other browsers show no problem.
  6. Job taken by Basti aka Sebastian, one of the Lead Developers from Visiolist - http://visiolist.com/
  7. Hi Guys, One of my business partners requires a coder who is able to able to modify the Dolphin CMS framework to their needs. Some of the features needed: (Most of those are already coded into Dolphin CMS) More information can be given to those interested. Budget is unspecified yet so offers are welcomed. If you are interested please do not hesitate to add me on skype - frostyisfrozen
  8. The reason why i chose MWG instead of sites such as freelancer is because everyone here is familiar with mccodes already. I wouldn't know who is available for jobs and who is not so a private bidding would not be possible. I don't think it would require an entire team because most people here are familiar with mccodes they already know what bugs and exploits it has.
  9. I know a lot about most reputable members of this forum therefore i know who can do the job to a good standard, it does not mean i would go with the cheapest although i would hope there would be some competition to get the job which is why i am posting it the way i am posting it as i want to get best value for money without compromising too much on quality. If i could get the best coder on this forum for for lets say £100 more than the cheapest bid i would go with the best coder as i would consider the quality to cost ratio.
  10. Thank you for going off-topic and lecturing me on how to conduct business. My intention is for this to turn out into some sort of bid so that i may possibly get cheaper offers than i would if it was done through PM. Also if i had people PMing me i could get a thousand PMs of people who i don't know, by making people post in the thread it would weed out some of the incompetent people who do not want to look like idiots in front of a community but who don't mind doing shoddy work. And it puts less pressure on me to accept any specific quote as a PM is personal and people do take it personally if they are turned down directly.
  11. Hi, I require someone who has good knowledge in mccodes and css/xhtml who is able to code a template from PSD into a secured version of mccodes v2 and make all features of the template working (they will be mentioned at the bottom of the thread) the template can not contain any errors and must work in all popular browsers (cross browser compatible) Who ever codes in the template must make sure every single page of the site displays properly using this template and if not must fix it. Template features which must work: (Ingame) Game Time must work on the left hand side of the template as shown in the screenshot Users Online must work on the left hand side of the template as shown in the screenshot Avatar must work as shown on the top right hand side of the template as shown in the screenshot Extra stats must also be displayed in the "Your Stats" area which are not normally in mccodes A custom admin page is also needed as the admin page on the left hand side would have too many items so a page is needed that would organize these in a orderly fashion, this is required for the admin panel and the moderator panel.   (Login) When a user clicks on "SIGN UP NOW!" a jQuery register box similar to the one in the thread below should pop up and after registration the user should be logged in and redirected to the tutorial page: http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/36204-ANY-Free-Login-!NEW! Login: http://pokit.org/get/img/583421359cd6645c0b016f93a079ec35.png Ingame: http://pokit.org/get/img/76cb01c658cc8dcaaa939799bab76a7e.png Whoever takes this job on will be dealing with a fresh copy of mccodes v2 (secured) and a reasonable deadline will be established, payment will be given on completion. Payment will be done through PayPal and be paid as a service from the business PayPal account. Please feel free to quote me for this job and the time frame required, please also make sure all quotes are in USD $ I will only choose someone reputable on this forum within the next 7 days. Please post in thread as i will not accept anyone over PM.
  12. Hi, I require someone who has good knowledge in mccodes and who is able to secure mccodes V2 (exploits/bugs) and make sure that no user is able to either gain access to the admin panel, users can not manipulate the game in any way possible. I understand that this also depends on the server settings so whoever is hired for this job must also give advise on what server settings need to be changed so that the game is fully secured against known bugs and exploits. Whoever takes this job on will be dealing with a fresh copy of mccodes v2 (untouched) and a reasonable deadline will be established, payment will be given on completion and after it has been tested for any bugs (this would take 2 - 3 hours). Payment will be done through PayPal and be paid as a service from the business PayPal account. Please feel free to quote me for this job and the time frame required, please also make sure all quotes are in USD $ I will only choose someone reputable on this forum within the next 7 days. Please quote the price in the thread as i will not accept anyone over PM.
  13. Regardless, i got exactly what i wanted coded with the exact features i wanted for $100 instead of $400, that is my point and the script is good and not heavy on server resources.
  14. The polling script was fully custom and dedicated to me, what i am saying is that the $30- $120 is completely wrong as i have in the past hired professionals overseas who would work for $5 an hour and even here on makewebgames in the past coders have created fully custom mods for $30 - $40. And like you said if someone needed the $20 or $40 to make ends meet they would take up a job like this, although don't get me wrong i do understand what your trying to say.
  15. You do make a fair point, but the "average" is not $30 - $120 an hour, it depends on the work that needs to be done and the person doing the work. For example i hired someone to create me a complete polling system which cost me $100 now i can accurately assume it took at least 8 - 10 hours to create in addition to 2 - 3 hours me nitpicking to make sure it is exactly what i wanted and this was created by a fairly advanced programmer, judging by your standards that polling script should of cost me at least $300 to $1560, yes a it does very between a good and a brilliant programmer but code still has to be written and there is a limit as to how fast people can type up the code. I'm not saying your wrong I'm just saying that the price is never fixed and that someone might actually want a small job that they get paid $40 for and someone else might not. My question to you is who would charge more and why? A programmer from the UK or a programmer from India both who have the exact same skills and motivation. I personally am looking for a bargain and if anyone has some spare time in which they can complete the work i require it's extra money to them as i am doing this per project basis and this entire project would consist of multiple smaller projects.
  16. HauntedDawg i am happy that you consider your time to be valued at a minimum of $40 an hour and i am sure a lot of other people also consider their time to be worth that and some expect even more, I personally value an hour of my time at around $100 and i wont get out of bed for less than $500. But of course the world is not perfect and we are in a recession in which a lot of people do not have jobs because their employers could not sustain their $20 or $40 an hour jobs. I am making an offer, if someone is interested please contact me and like i mentioned in the first post those prices are a rough guide, i myself have basic php knowledge so i do know how long things take and how much should be paid for them i am not unreasonable as a few people would tell you that i have dealt with and i am always open to negotiation within reason but i myself am on a tight budget and i need to fulfill all aspects of the project within that budget therefore that is why i mentioned those prices as the custom mods i have in mind don't take longer than lets say 3 - 4 hours to create at most and for those mods i would pay a little more depending on the agreement with the coder. I know you say your not trying to start an argument but i do not appreciate you trying to influence the prices i am willing to pay, of course someone who receives money wants as much as possible and the person giving the money wants to give the least amount possible but eventually we both meet in the middle and if i could hire someone for $1 an hour i would do it in a heart beat because they would be undercutting everyone else and it would benefit me, and to be frank that's all i care about, the benefit to me and my project, sorry if this sounded self-centered but anyone who has an ongoing project sees things this way.
  17. Hi, I am looking for a Game Developer for Drug District: http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/42418-DrugDistrict-The-ultimate-Drug-amp-War-MMORPG We have decided to go with the MCCodes game engine as it would be less time consuming and cheaper to go with than creating an entire game engine from scratch. We are looking for someone who is able to do the following: Secure and fix any bugs there are in mccodes currently. Code a template into the game engine xhtml compliant. Create Several Custom Modification within a suitable timeframe. Update the look of several pages within the game (profile/userlist/ect...) Make adjustments to the core engine if needed. I am looking for someone who is able to do all of the following in a timely manor and at a fair price. The deadline for this project will be the 31st of January and constant communication is expected. Amounts Being Paid: $5 - $15 For each page update depending on what needs to be done. $15 - $40 For each custom modification depending on what needs to be done. Above is a rough guide as to how much you can expect, payment will be through paypal (invoice required) and will be given once work is completed, unfortunately we will not be able to pay in advance or a deposit regardless of experience or membership duration on this forum. If anyone has any question please ask, only people who are interested in the work - no smart asses please.
  18. Login page has been finished along with advert banners, banners are not fully ready but they will be animated:
  19. The game will be basic enough for anyone to get the hang of it and once they do they will have access to a lot more features which will make gameplay a lot more interesting. Some planned features: Farms (Stackable &Upgradable to better ones so that they produce more drugs + the ability to use attribute points to increase the quality) Sales Teams (Stackable & Upgradeable to better ones so that they sell more drugs + the ability to use attribute points to increase the sales price) Army (You can equip your army with multiple weapons (defensive & offensive)) you entire army can battle against other armies to steal money & drugs) Housing (Stackable & Upgradeable to better housing which can house more soldiers) Forums (Basic forums with most features like vBulletin) Chatroom (Basic chatroom with smilies and ability to see how is active or not in them) Districts (The equivalent of gangs with the ability to tax all members a certain % based on their cash steals and ability to go to full out war with other districts)   The game will be round based (30 day rounds) with prizes for the top players & top districts (In-Game rewards/Cash) Thats just the tip of the iceberg :)
