Are you sure it's because noobs use it? I doubt you dislike a program just because of the people that use it. There's not to many people out there that would pay over $100 to do something the barely know how to do. I think theres another reason why you dislike dreamweaver. The free programs may just be better to you. Which is ok in my books. ;) So to sum it up... You think dreamweaver is not an ide. You think dreamweaver is not an ide because you dislike it. You dislike it because noobs use it. You dislike the noobs because some of them can code better than you. Makes total since to me.

Besides what can you code up in your ide that you couldn't code up in dreamweaver?   So your saying that you can outcode anyone that uses dreamweaver? I doubt it. I think your just trying to say I suck at coding. You have never seen me code (lately) so you wouldn't know. So that statement is null and void.

Standalone app or part of one or more existing and compatible apps - CHECK   You still didn't say the difference between dreamweaver and an ide. I've never had to use any code tab. By definition I would say that dreamweaver is an ide unless you can tell me otherwise. Now lets leave it at that.

I've never had to select a code tab. What is this code tab. What would a real ide have instead of this code tab. Click a table button to see how it looks on your server? I kind of don't get that statement. But are you saying a real ide would have php built in so you could see how your server would output it?

Tell me the difference so I know what I'm looking for. Either way I'm still looking for something similar but better when it comes to the auto tabbing/spacing.

Does netbeans compile C++? or do you use something else to compile it? Just curious. Want to start learning it, and need something to work with.

I use dreamweaver cs4. I like it because it auto tabbing/spacing, function hinting, and syntax highlighting. It has error detection when editing javascript but not php. :( I like the auto tabbing/spacing but it doesn't work 100% right. Like if I add a comment in my code which contains any of these characters ) or ( or { or } it will screw up the auto tabbing. So I am looking for a better IDE. Haven't done much searching so if anyone could recommend one that is similar I would appreciate it.

Yes you can develop for any console now. But when developing for xbox,ps3,wii there is a publishing fee(somewhere around $10,000 usd), and the game has to be approved.

Ok so you can. Unity looks like it has way more to offer seeing that it specializes in game making and blender specializes in 3d modeling.

Blender is 3d modeling software. It can be use to make 3d models but not a 3d game. Although it can be used with unity to make a 3d game. Which is what i'm doing.

Thats what I thought you were after in my first post. I need to see the html for where that element starts and any css applied to it. It's probably due to something not being set to transparent or something did/did not inherit a background color.

Yea ie9 is still the most non-compliant browser it's getting better though. When editing your layout and css, the main browser you should test in is chrome. Usually if it works in chrome it works in the other main browsers(Opera,Firefox,Safari,IE9+). Unless its an html5 tag or css3 property not yet supported by all browsers. Yes there is a way to get rounded corners in earlier browser versions but to me it's not worth it (includes making 8 images for each side and corner). Unless your making a layout that is going to have some kind of exotic borders.

Oh! It's the rounded corners your trying to get. Well if your using windows xp, internet explorer will never support border radius. If you are using vista or windows 7 you can go to the microsoft website and download IE9. There is no longer any need for multiple css properties to get cross browser border-radius to work. All you should be using is border-radius,border-top-right-radius,border-top-left-radius,border-bottom-right-radius, or border-bottom-left-radius. If it's google chrome you are having trouble with then be sure you are using the latest version.

Can't tell you anything without seeing your layout and css. And how is it suppose to look? Like the top 1 or the bottom 1.

Well what were the results? I know when I was going about trying to make a flash chat for my game. I couldn't get flash to detect the cross-domain file. So it would not connect to my server. It would work fine in the flash editor and I could see it connecting on my server but when I put the files on my server it just would not connect. I was of course using xampp. I never tried it on any online hosting so idk if its just xampp or anything running on apache. So I just said forget it and am making a jquery chat with polling.
