Nice first attempt, however there are browser compatible issues going on with IE on the navigation. The links are dropping down with each link. -
Developer May Be Needed - Mild PHP Coding [Prison Survival]
W3Theory || Peter replied to daftrude's topic in Partnerships
Rulerofzu had all the right to ask that question. I must say k1ngscorp1o, reading most of your posts tend to show you are a little far up your own buttocks (nice term to use). There was no point to lash out on rulerofzu, except if you have a personal conflict with him in which you should stay off these particular threads and take it private. If Daftrude does not prove to have a legit license for Mccodes, then anyone joining in a partnership with him could possibly end up with lawsuits against them or lose reputation on the forums for using illegal license. So please think before you start lashing out on others as it just looks bad for yourself. Daftrude please provide a moderator or Admin with your proper license so they can verify it for you and potential partners. This would be a great way to show potential partners that you are committed to the project as you already invested a good amount to it. -
Yeah no problem, I do agree with Redeye. It has a nice fresh look to it even though there is not much detail in it I still feel like you did a nice job bringing it all together. Good job man and i wish you all the best with the site!

What he means is that the demo account that you have provided is not working. Though I went ahead and registered another account. username: user password: pass

The first comment will be that it is slow loading for me. Second will be the inside template throws me off balance, you have a very graphical top header which you definitely got from gamesitetemplates.com but then add paint work to it which in my eyes just ruin it. I would try to keep consistent with the style of your design, gives the gamer a sense of relax thinking the game is all put together by the same person.

I am still confused how that is still insulting. I merely stated some areas and warn him to not waste money on that site as it doesn't have that high of an active user base itself. 0.o -
Hmm this is probably not my favorite out of your lists of designs. It seems plain and simple, compared to what your other work was. It's all black with a design at the top which is repeated at the bottom. Plus there is no distinction between the menu and content

I wasn't trying to be insulting haha (whoops) I thought I was just giving constructive criticism :P -

No offense, but I highly doubt you will get anyone from that site to come to yours. For a couple of reasons. (1st) - That site has already a low amount of active people. IE, our game is on there and it's listed in the top 15. Hasn't been touched. (2nd) - The real way to grab people is to give them benifits to join your site as then there will be no point at all. (3rd) - Your sites template is very distracting and makes me want to get off the site after visiting for less than a minute. -
Most important part of a game
W3Theory || Peter replied to a_bertrand's topic in Question of the day
To be honest, all are. You can't say one thing is the most important part. You need to be able to access each category in a proper way for it to be successful. So for my answer, I say all. -

What it does technically where you got the script, if it was just off the web and not paid for then your site can get taken down in seconds for legal reasons. So yes it is important.. Plus it seemed like you were trying to hide the fact of the co.cc and the idea of you not having a proper domain and not saying where you got the engine kind of leaves me to believe this is a stolen copy... -

Just saw this, why use .com when you don't have a .com but just a free domain? A domain costs 10$ and hosting about 5$ a month, is this engine that you have even linked to a license? I want to ask a Moderator to check to see if this is not script taken from the web without paying for it. -

Never mind. Not worth the time. -
Not bad man, alot going out. My suggestions would be to add hover links , so you can see the buttons and links. Right now it's all static to me. But I like, nice job

Now I am starting to feel like you are missing the whole point of making a game and you seem a stuck up with some of these comment. Just to say you did 4-5 hours (in a couple of days) is nothing. I been working on a game for overall three months. A game creator needs passion to want to create a game and make it different, needs the drive to want it to be one of the top games. If not then it simply will just start to fall apart and there are to many games out there like that. -
http://www.w3theory.com/Clients/rave.png - For my first song full song (in process of editing) figured I should create a design to go along haha

Might of been used as splats but it's use way to much as a blood effect and there is no styling to it so you can't really tell the difference.

Brushes don't make the background, but the way you use them and mix and style is how you can make a background look nice

What kind of web games are you interested in
W3Theory || Peter replied to a_bertrand's topic in Question of the day
I like strategy games with graphics, they prove to be very intriguing and entertaining. I love training the mind to think. I normally don't play games at all, too busy with school work, client work and intern. However, if I am going to play a game it would be something that makes me think as I would get way to bored if it's just some normal shoot up game or just small text based game. That is my view. Though I am tend to hard to please with games, that is why I say never one of my past games were that well was because I wasn't too excited about the gameplay of it. -
Very simple, I agree with a_bertrand and I, myself, have this problem still. I tend to think Font's are the hardest to deal with on a template, but that is just one person's opinion. Back to your template, like I said it's simple. For coding, I see about 5 major div's with probably just a couple of other easy additions. It is definitely a template to practice on which is good, but to grab clients I would say you need to try and make a more detail job done. As styling up a template is not just in the template itself but on the pages. TO prove to a client, they should choose you, you need to work more on the pages themselves an dhow they look as just a center text with a title will not do. Clean job done, I probably wouldn't of done a separate div for the blue bar at the top, I would of just included it with the background header design. For the template itself, it's simple and not sure why there is blood splatters if this is a portfolio piece, which is just like a regular template. Plus the top blue line is way to vibrant and bright. It makes me focus up at the very top vierst, which is not what you really want people to do. However, it is your fourth try so good job on that. I tried to be as clean with my critique hope it helped.
