RetroSpace Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Hi everyone, I'd like to show you Retro Space, a browser game we're working on. If you remember the older OGame-style games, you'll recognise the idea: build up a planet, keep the mines running, research new technology and decide when it's worth putting resources into a fleet. It's already playable, but still in Alpha. You can build ships, send missions, colonise other planets and join alliances. Everything runs through the website, so you just need an account, not a separate download. The game is based on XGProyect. We've been working on the Retro Space interface and artwork, including three skins: the purple Orbit Supernova, the darker Nachtorbit and the blue Retro Klassik. They keep the same layout, so changing the look doesn't mean having to find everything again. You can try it here: https://retrospace.eu/ I'd be interested to hear how the first session feels. Is it obvious what to do after signing up, or do you get stuck somewhere? And if you've played this kind of game before, which skin would you actually want to use? I've included some screenshots below. These are from the actual Alpha, using a test account; the resources and levels shown aren't what a new player starts with. Thanks for taking a look.
