strangeeyes Posted June 9, 2012 Share Posted June 9, 2012 So why should I sign up to this exactly? what are the benefits over the other hundreds of games? what do the hundreds of other games have that each of the others dont? most online text based games are pretty much the same ..and thats the same with crimelords2 it has a backalley to battle NPC for chances of item, cash and credi drops, missions which gain you xp and other rewards, pets that you can equip and have various items for pets to add hp, energy ect, Land, Houses and house items which give extra awake ..which im sure all these mods are on various other games. but crimelords2 isnt written in the common mccodes or grpg scripts ..its similar features but the code was written from scratch and it has active players, staff and new features added in regularly as well as contests that have given away amazon store credits as well as other things ..again though other games have done that too so rather than asking what is different why not make a account and have a look ..its free and if you dont like it you dont have to stay or play Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Up to an extent, look at each of those games you talk about and see how many active players. Most of the game (and I mean a very high percentage of them) don't last that long, and the reason is based on what you said already, they all have the same modules to them. Now to say that cl2 has a lot, that can be a bad thing. I can get a feel from the look of it that there is no story-line (except the usual try to get to the top) and there is no connection between modules.
