runthis Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 (edited) If inside your internal flash, you overrided.deleted, moved, renamed, breathed on wrong, anything involving controlling startup, power or the battery (likely one file). you will never be able to turn it on short of the manufacturer plugging it into their original hardware and reinstalling the proprietary software. The problem is this, yes, you can fix it right? But all you need is for it to turn on, thats the problem, your trying to fix the problem, but the problem wont let you fix it. Like losing your contacts, if you could only see you could find those damn contacts ey? edit: further more, the chances of it working through usb are slim too, UNLESS, you get lucky and they made a safeway into the phone via usb without turning it on when its broken, like a driver that activates a different mode of the phone or some special wire(maybe an extra green one inside) activates it to that mode (sometimes, yes, but unlikely). Ecko Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 so what your trying to say is , its best that i give it in to samsung service centre rather than buy a jig , as if i buy a jig it wont do anything, but what i dont understand i , i only flashed the wrong recovery on this device and i doubt the recovery file is the same file that is the power controls . i never would have thought that changing a recovery of a phone would brick it. runthis Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 There is a reason why your phone was not listed. Ok lets break it down. I will try and fix your phone from here. Whats the make and model? Quote
runthis Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 If you take it to samsung they will not help you, by flashing anything you have violated the terms for their help, although i may be wrong if they charge. If its free than i am most certainly right. They might not be free and still wont want to help too. Quote
Ecko Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 if they find out that it was flashed , which i doubt because i have only flashed recovery and rooted it , ( the rom is original ) then they will charge and get it fixed , if they dont find out they will do it for free thinking that it was all kies fault and thats why they should fix it . also my m8 had a htc hd2 custom rom 2.3 and rooted and the touchscreen stopped working , sent it into htc and came back some days ago replaced screen and facsia for free . all they did was put it back to windows os. Ecko Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 yes , if they fix it for me i will enjoy it , but if they replace it then i will sell it . Quote
