I would say im 75% done and the game is actually up and running. What i would love is for a programmer to come in and have fun making some of his own feature ideas in an ideal api environment. The game is written in javascript, php, and the standard hooplah. I would love an ideaman who could write some interesting stories for missions, or program a nice message system, its all good. Anyway anyone interested? The game is called 'Pure' So what do you think, anyone wanna help out? Edited July 8, 2011 by runthis Quote
a_bertrand Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Well so far it doesn't look bad, even if the interface look a bit... messy maybe too many windows even if I know that you want to reproduce like an hacker desktop. So congratulations for your progress and good luck with the project! Quote
runthis Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) Thanks, Yes, for the screenshots i had a ton of windows open, doing a bunch of stuff. Otherwise the layout is extremely simple. I added two more screenshots to my first post to show its simplicity Edited July 2, 2011 by runthis merged posts Quote
runthis Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 Lol@danny, i think i sent you an email the other day seeing if you wanted to do a bit of programming on it, but you declined, i never showed you screenshots but there they are :) haha Quote
W3Theory || Peter Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 What if you get hackers who really hack your game to play, that would be ironic. But nice and unique, though seems a little too busy for me. Quote

runthis Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 Securing everything is a major factor in the programming of this game. Quote
runthis Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 Although that was a funny joke, because the logic behind it. It will happen i'm sure. I am making sure security is tight and i am even making the gameplay tight, so manipulation cannot happen. I am especially working on ease of use, you got draggable smart windows for your software, sortable lists, easy to use slide up(which is rare, slide up) menu at the bottom software link. No page loads, ajax all. So many things make this game very easy to use. As far as unique features, the crack password feature literally attempts at cracking the players in-game password one character at a time by shuffling through the characters in its dictionary until it lands on the right one, like in the movies! no timers here. or waiting just to wait. You can clone your enemies ip address and then attack his friend and his friend will think that he attacked him. You ddos attack is shown in real-time. I cant wait to show this game to you guys. Im using hardcore hand-coded php OOP and hand-coded js. Sorry for the long post, i am excited to make a game that is fun for everyone, a game for the whole community to make it how they want. Hit me up for an api to make your own features if you like, its cool. Quote
Diesl Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 You sound pretty passionate about it. Looks good so far (but as mentioned, messy UI). Would still be interested to see it when released. 1 Quote
runthis Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 Sweet thanks, yeah, the game moves so fast i had to actually set all that up on the UI, otherwise its not that messy Quote
