I have to admit the layout is pretty god dam awesome and it's very attractive(NO!), so there a point for you. But the thing that kind of gets it for me, that there isn't much todo on the game. Just standard Mccodes. The game could become a success if you put more time into this. :)

you would need a good user base before user interaction is seen as something to look into. i like the layout (but it's all opinion on looks of a site). make sure you adding custum mods that take your site past the "basic mccodes game" as right now i see little that does that. i would always look into getting some ads out, even free posts on facebook to get members.

The issues are the things I spoke to you about when I helped with the game briefly: not enough to do besides attacking and a few "streets" activities, too many people are so powerful they tend to knock people out of the game before they can even get started, and the game needs better writing, flavor and more variety in crimes/classes/etc. All MHO of course.

Just my 2 cents in reference to the above post.

I always found games better when gaining stats/level/money are hard.

Work out, gain maybe 2 strength. rob someone oo 3 dollars. Weapons cost a lot housing costs a lot etc etc.

It ensures no one will get to powerful to quickly and cap your game, as then it becomes dull and dies.

I wouldnt start over with a new one, hell I would almost take over the one you have now as it has potential and I need a new project.

But, you would have to actually sit down and plan everything out about the future not just slap up a game and call it a game.

Good luck. The game does have potentiol, as it's got about 30ish users online everyday, you just need to build the contents of the game & make it a little bit more interesting, & the other things will take care of itself ;)

Honestly? I'd start fresh, retooling what's there, adding new stuff, and conducting at least a several week beta period before reopening. There are a number of balance issues with the game, not to mention it needs a unique hook and something to do besides attacking repeatedly. How about distinct missions, or a workshop to put together unique items, or even a special streets area for upgraded members or member of certain levels? More cities to travel to with unique features in each, more gambling games, more items, more crimes? I even suggested an "oxygen" feature where players need to find oxygen to survive in this wasteland environment, or suffer penalties. They could find units of air in street searches, through trades, or bartering. It would add a unique element of urgency to the game. Air would slowly be used when you were active online as you went from page to page (slow enough to be balanced, but enough so that you always had to keep it in mind).

Joshua: I tried to do this, and was met with resistance to every idea I suggested. I thought of buying it outright, since I think it looks very cool, but I would have had to start the game fresh and reset everything and it would have been a royal pain. How he has 30-40 active members a day is beyond me, IMHO.
