Is there something I could download off the internet or something? to test mods before adding to my game?

something that has the phpmyadmin and the way to add files to check em to see for bugs?

Yeah its called Xampp or WAMP or LAMPP if you use a linux box

XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html)

WAMP (http://www.wampserver.com/en/download.php)

LAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-linux.html)

all 3 of these will install Apache, MYsql, phpmyadmin, PHP and others

I downloaded the wamp buit I dont know how to do anything on it

what you do is run the .exe lol and i included linux if your like me and use both OS's

what I have done so far!

Download it ran the setup and installed wamp when I open it it doesnt open a window or nothing just an icon that has about refresh help language exit thats all

Wamp is great once you finally get it set up, but to test things with the example same settings as your server with minimum effort (same php version, mysql version, etc) just create a second directory on your server. Call it test game. Copy all your game files there. Create a new mysql database. Copy all your mysql info there. Then screw around with that, when you finish testing/coding a mod, transport it over to the 'live' game.

you could always try adding a subdomain? called... oh idk... modtest

which would create a folder in public_html called modtest

do i backup of all your files. move that zip into the modtest folder and extract them.

then upload the mod you wanna work on, on that subdomain modtest folder...

and the url will be like this

http://modtest.gamenamehere.com/login.php/
