How did you set your game up without the installer. For installer to work you need to go to your site http://www.yourgame.com/installer.php And go from there

Fixed a number of features but having trouble with crimes I added a crime in the staff menu Had some errors because you had to enter a crystal to add a crime Got rid of that and the crime added to the database But when i go to my crimes.php its not there   Any help would be appreciated

I fixed it its ok. Had a slight problem with something in the database

I recently went on my old computer and found some games,movies and mccodes v2 which i had forgot about I went in the installer.php and tried installing and got some epreg errors I fixed those by changing it to preg_match and the errors went away but there was another error with it, I had put in my database,username and password but get this Installer 1. Diagnostics >> 2. Configuration >> 3. Installation & ExtrasWrite Config... Config written. Attempting DB connection Connection Successful. Writing Main MySQL data. QUERY ERROR: No database selected Query was CREATE TABLE `announcements` ( `a_text` text NOT NULL, `a_time` int(11) NOT NULL default '0') ENGINE=MyISAM ; How do i fix this. Been using mccodes 1 but since i found my old v2 i want to put this up

Im sure this will help others who happen to come across this But i need a site to learn PHP that teaches it in a simple way and so i dont get lost halfway through I see people these days still mention W3schools.com which has incorrect stuff in some parts I've seen people mention tizag.com Which is alright but still not for me I've always preferred examples and to work hand's on Hence the reason i got a game script so i can also have a look at it while learning and to understand it a little more But i havent come across a good place where i can learn to my best ability So what im asking is do any of you know anymore good sites to learn from? Thanks for any replies as it means a lot

Ok i got the ezRPG Its very basic but i will just mess around and experiment with it I will try the other one at some stage too

Is this worth working on. I have never used mmcodes or this before But i know there is a number of bugs with this script but is it worth fixing up Im a beginner and messing around with a script might help me learn better.. If i could fully program i would start from scratch but im not that good
