  1. Its total sh*t IMO anyways. Any owner that uses something like this has no creativity of his/her own anyway. Just my opinion
  2. I am still having a few issues and am now trying to install the mod on a fresh copy. I would gladly let you take a look if you have time. I am sure it is something simple that I am missing.

  4. Thanks for making it :) I like the concept of it as it actually encourages people to be active. you can not simply log in once, then come back after it completes and restart another. Without staying active you simply can not complete a course :D I am going back through everything. Problem I seem to have now is adding a new course through the admin panel. After filling everything in, and click create course it refreshes and empties all of the fields but never makes the course. Anyone happen to know what I may have done wrong? ?( I thought maybe you could not leave any of the fields blank but that was not it either.
  5. Thank you both very much, that fixed it. I should have stopped last night when I started "glazing" over staring at it. Thanks to the whole community, I dont generally have a need to post as most answers are already out there with a bit of effort looking around. I could never place a value on the things I have learned from this awesome site. A huge thanks to everyone!! :thumbsup:
  6. Thanks for this mod....Lol I have learned tons from it. It truly has added a new perspective to my "Pirate game" schema. I have whats a very noobish question but I wanna ask so maybe I can understand in the future. I have added most of this,but when i got to what was noted as edits to header.php div.grey_info{ border:1px #999999 solid; width:80%; margin: auto; background:#a1a1a1 } div.outcome_info{ border:1px #ffffff solid; width:80%; margin: auto; background:#D1D1D1 } Seems as if just anywhere in the body with the rest of the css would have sufficed, yet it gave me a white screen. remove it and all is better. Is it monorail that the bit should have been added,or am I just placing it in the wrong place?
  7. Seems like it is predominately a chat based game, I dunno but guess before IRC was so popular for this purpose.. All the same it seems to offer same as IRC ... only in game. And it uses Frames...something I have not seen in a while as far as game production.   9. I was curious if anyone here has had any experience with a game engine that was written is russian. The game at the time had the name Territory. I am not sure where i even acquired it, but I have been driving myself to new levels trying to figure it out. I have pretty much translated the script, yet still need to go through the translation so that it does not have so much broken English. Many of the edits in the past were better than 10 years ago, the latest I have seen that was noted was in 2004. It seems quite different from any design I have ever seen,and even with the time differential since it was last edited....well Im by no means a wiz at security with open management, it seems well before its time with security. I would be more than willing to share this script with a notable person,that has security knowledge, I am just curious at this point if anyone has ever seen a script with that name?
  10. Thanks for the replies. I am really just getting started and have played with both the V1 and the V2 mccodes. In v1 you get a database populated with crimes,weapons...most things needed for out of the box.   In v2 you dont get these and need to do the things such as figuring out the crime formula yourself. I guess why I was wondering at what point something would be called an engine is because in my opinion v1 is more ready to go and something I would refer to as an "engine". I am going to compare various cores though so I learn more about what source becomes a base engine. Thanks
  11. Hello Everyone, I am not a poster at all....I can generally find the answers to my wannabe noobish question by..YES, Simply using the search feature. I will accept and understand that this question has most probably been brought up before.Lol my problem was I couldnt actually find that thread :P Ok so here is what I am wondering....... At what point is it that a particular way of changing a (say...in a fresh install of MCC 2) game does it mean making a new modification, or changing the engine itself. In my opinion by the time people download a version of the engine, then install sh1t tons of mods and variables in the game....Its not really the engine anymore...its a modified version of "said engine" <----- What is it that the said engine becomes?? Lol. I confuse myself with the fact i feel the need to ask the general consensus for help with this answer...but the search feature does not answer my hypothetical ponderings :P So.... The question is this ...... When are you making "mods" to be used with the base engine? Or just after so many modifications.. You made something new?!? What decides a Base Engine???????????????
