Oh, My dear lord, it clearly states on your game that the game has been over all active for 30+ days, and you made what £1200? ... Jesus H... I think i now want to buy this game... It's a damn profit if nothing else. Now... in all seriousness. You are still yet to tell us about the game. Now why don't you start with that. This is like the 8th time anyone has asked you to on this post. Comply? The Apprentice - Alex Riley

"Ages" tells us nothing... Why not tell us how long is "Ages" or are you trying to think up random ammounts of days you took doing various things.. As far as unique goes, i could probably make that game myself in under a day. Lets be serious, your talking to near pro's here... We can smell BS from outside of the forum gates :/ The Apprentice - Alex Riley

Just gonna' say now, your punching way above your weight asking for such a high ammount of money, This game isn't meerly enough for the asking price. Please by all means re-think, and try to be a little more feaisable with your next attempt. Ohhh... By the way, The game is 35 days old... I mean seriously, i wouldn't mind if it was as old as sand but it's new and not established. On your next post or edit rather, include the following: - A lesser asking price. - More information - Less stupidity Good stuff. The Apprentice - Alex Riley

The Apprentice - Alex Riley is here again; Changing the gaming world one review at a time. So... let's get down to buisness. Game Name: Fire Fight Game URL: http://www.firefightff.com Game Owner(s): Reefer These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) Login/Register: The login page took me by suprise when i saw this game advertised i thought it would be a second rate game with origional MC source and nothing really going for it, However i was wrong in a sence because i think this game has a lot going for it, when i saw the login page i was instantly impressed, the screenshots are their where they should be informing the user and there is no register page, instead there is a pop down menu which allows you to register on the same page as the login. Registering was fairly easy when i actually found out where to go there is no email verification needed. I think the theme of the game is very good and i really enjoyed looking through the login page of this game. In terms of compatablity and information provided FF gets a massive 9.5/10 for the Login & Register. Logging In: Logging in, you can see the similarities between other games, however there are some distinct differences with the layout, the user information and stat bars are at the top left where they should always be in my opinion and the main menu has been edited to be more user firendly aswell, I did recieve a message from the owner upon logging on for the first time which i was happy about, also you get three donator days and a couple goodies for signing up so the game gives you a little boost. You also have to agree to the game rules and terms and conditions of the game. Which again i think is an amaziing feature to have. The logging in section recieves a 8/10 Exploring the game: It's very easy to explore this game, everything is laid out as expected with text based games, nothing is changed all that much, i like the way they have set out the different things in the game as it all fits with the game theme, there are of course new additions to the game but i grasped the concept of these features in under 20 minuites so i'm sure any other new users would. I may add that is fairly easy to get started on this game, in under 10 minuites i was a game level 5 this is good because once people see they are doing well they will stick around to see how far they can get Exploring the game gets a good 8.5/10 Staff: Not had a chance to really talk to any of the staff, however i have seen they have Player Moderator staff roles which i think is quite good for a game, i love the fact of having staff dedicated to nothing else other than helping users when and where they can, this is one of the reasons i think this game is very succesful Staff gets a 7/10 because of the sheer fact that they have Player Moderators Misc Information: Userbase: 5156 Sign Up's Days Active: 544 Staff Members: 4 Key Features - - Second Server ... (Why? ... Gives new users a chance to be better and have a chance to catch up in a totally new game) - In-Game Competitions .... (Why? ... Users can gain goodies anyway the admins can think up) - Active Game Forums ... (Why? .... Communication between users and staff is always crucial) - Grim City ... (Why? It's an updated battle tent but with jobs which the users can tackle aswell) In clossing i'm going to give both Fire Fight Server 1 & 2 an overall rating of 9/10 Amazing games, i recommend checking them out. The Apprentice - Alex Riley is here again; Changing the gaming world one review at a time. So... let's get down to buisness. Game Name: Vile City Game URL: http://www.vilecity.com Game Owner(s): arion These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) Login/Register: The login page and register page are very impressive i do not have a bad thing to say about this login page, as always with these reviews i ramble about whether or not login pages are informative, and once again i think this one is informative with not only text but images aswell, so this made me really like the login page, the register page is fairly straight forward and simple there is no captcha test but however you do have to agree to a TOS which i always say is a good feature to have in any game. In clossing i give the login and register pages a 8/10 Logging in: Logging in the game for the first time you recieve a message right away, it's a great feature to have because it makes the user feel welcomed, upon logging in it's just the same as any other text based games the layout has been imrpoved from origional source codes and looks a whole lot better, everything on the game is easily found. I liked this game upon logging in and i actually played it for around 30 minuites and felt myself getting addicted. Exploring the game: I wont say much about the exploring aspect of the game, everything is just like the origional text based games, no major changes to talk about This review is going to end on a low however, upon saying i was writing a review on this game i had some negative feedback from some former users. - Ex user 'SKYBLU' claimed that the game play aspect was very good however the staff running and underhanded sneaky things they did where a put-off - An annonymous source had said that the game was good during a period of time, but with no updates for a long time and the staff treating people who donated more fairly than those who didn't. ... So in closing and from what i've heard this game is going to get an overall disapointing 5/10 A game should never be run just for people who donate. Thats my two cents anyway, check it out for yourself MWG. As always... The Apprentice - Alex Riley

The images at the top would look better with writing underneath. I like the general layout of this, i think it's quite impressive. though as i said, writing is needed. As always... The Apprentice - Alex Riley

The Apprentice - Alex Riley is here again; Changing the gaming world one review at a time. Thankyou to a_bertrand for letting me do this review on his awesome game. So... let's get down to buisness. Game Name: Nowhere else and beyond Game URL: http://us.nowhere-else.org or http://en.nowhere-else.org Game Owner(s): a_bertrand These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) Okay, so i've never reviewd a game like this before, but i'll give it my best shot. Login/Register: One word, Impressive... now considering i didn't know alot about this game, the login taught me everything i may need to know, it is informal and staright to the point and that in my opinion is the ideal login page, not only that several screenshots have been added to the login page to show the users just what this game is about, again another thing that really impresses me, The register page you actually have to accept terms and conditions, THANK GOD! someone on here actually wants to inform the the user of their rules before they sign up and don't care reading the in-game rules. Going back to the home page there is more information i missed out in the form of user statisitcs, i ramble on about this but i like the competative edge this adds to any game. Registering couldn't be easier you actually register inside the game which i think is an asweome feature. In closing i would give the login and register an impressive 9/10. Logging In: Now, i get a sudden Runescape feel when i logged on, and i'm not a fan of runescape, but however this doesn't mean the Review is going to be biased, as i dont know about these types of games the things i say will be limited, however when you login you are greeted with a loading screen and you are on your way, it's basically a point and click move game, which i think is very well thought out, the graphics for the game look really impressive and it doesn't look to complicated. The information is provided and very well, when you hover over something a brief description will pop up containing what this is for and usually how it is used. I have noticed also you can use your arrow keys to navigate your character, another amazing feature and i really enjoy this one, sometimes in my opinion using the mouse is way to much effort So logging in i'm going to give a 8/10 Exploring the game: Exploring the game is really easy, if you have played games like Runescape fine, you'll get used to this quicker than others, if not i still think it can be picked up, i would provide more information on the game and how to play sooner in the game however but thats just personal preference, i'd maybe add NPC's in the house you start in that will tell you things that may help you before you go on in-game. Everything is easily found with a simple mouse over and as i've said a pop up box appears, point and click isn't really hard to grasp the concept of. Overall the exploring of the game is relativly good and i am fairly impressed so i'm giving a 9/10 Staff: Staff isn't viasable in this, as i don't know any of the staff members. Misc Information: I don't really like games like these however i have been converted i think i could play this game more regularly, i enjoy text based games but this is pretty impressive and it's always nice to have a change in scenery. So in closing im going to give NEaB a 8/10 rating this is partly because i don't like games like this but considering what i've seen with other games compared to this, sometimes theres just no comparrison and with NEaB there are no close contenders. As always... The Apprentice - Alex Riley

The Apprentice - Alex Riley is here again; Changing the gaming world one review at a time. So... let's get down to buisness. Game Name: Ruler Of Zu Game URL: http://rulerofzu.com Game Owner(s): Ruler Of Zu These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) Login/Register: I was fairly impressed with the login and register for this game, i didn't expect it to be of the quality that it was, i dont know why i didn't expect this, i just thought it'd be a totally different game judging by the name but nevertheless i love the login and register page, the register page actually isn't a page it's a pop-up which before i have talked about my love for, another amazing feature of the register page is the secret question, which gives me as a user more confidence and stability in my account. Back to the login page it is very clean with amazing images and a lot of thought it would seem put in. So for login and register i would give a generous: 8/10 Logging in: Logging in for the first time as i recently have it looked like you'd expect any game to look, the layout is similar to that of many games out there on the internet, which isn't a bad thing, people are used to it and i hate it when people overly change things. So i got two events when i signed up one declaring i had recieved 5 master days (Donator) and one saying i had recieved a start up kit this stuff is given to you a start which is pretty much the same thing, so well done for that. There is a welcome [age which addresses where a user should start on the game, Thank God! someone actually put enough thought into their game to ahow users exactly where to start of and the ideal approach to the game Logging in i would give a 6/10 due to lack of information. Exploring the game: I found exploring relativly easy to understand as with the same of all these games, again as i've said nothing to complicated which is what i prefer, everything is easily found in game, a couple different name changes to some things like gangs ect. but it's nothing major, someone could pick up where all the key areas are on this game in under 20 minuites of game time. The layout of this game is very good i actually love it, i've already expressed my love for the login well the inside layout is just as good. Exploring the game i would give a 7/10 Staff: The staff seem fairly active and responsive to their users, as i have only just signed up i can't really say much, however i do see that they reply to their users and they are playing characters as aposed to NPC's. There are also player moderators active on the game, i love the idea of this and i think it is very user friendly to have staff members devoted to helping new users and old users whenever and wherever they can It would not be fair to rate the staff due to my time on the game. I'd give a estimated 8/10 with staff on Zu. Misc Information: I'm not going to ramble this time about users ect... however i'm just going to point out the key features of the game (The userbase however is fairly active for a game of it's age) - Register Security Answer .... (Why?... Gives user more of a secure feel) - Player of the hour ... (Why?... Gives the user more of a sence of achievement) - 50/50 Cash/Crystals ... (Why?... Easier way for user to gain money/crystals) In closing, i enjoyed reviewing this game and would give it an overall 7.6/10 Well done Ruler Of Zu. As always... The Apprentice - Alex Riley

The Apprentice - Alex Riley is here again; Changing the gaming world one review at a time. So... let's get down to buisness. Side notes: Yeah, i know TM is a very good and succesful game already, however i do want to review as many games as possible. So this is more of a pleasure than a request. Game Name: Trenton Made Game URL: http://www.trentonmade.com Game Owner(s): The Man & Sway These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) Login/Register: So the login page is amazing, thats the first thing i'm going to say, it has everything you could possibly need when you first visit a game like this, things like Screenshots, Game Background Story and of course Current User Statistics, what more could you need to know? Layout wise the game is kept very clean especailly in the Login and Register sections, the whole game matches in my opinion and thats what i like on games like these, The game login and register in all is really good and i think it matches with the rest of the games theme. The register page is of similar standards, it is a fairly easy sign-up and no hassle. Another thing i love about these games. In clossing i'd give the Login/Regiser section of this review a kind 9/10 Logging In: Logging in for the first time you will see some distinct differences between other games and Trenton Made, the differences being better in my opinion, i love the layout of this game and i can't say that enough. When logging in everything is very easily found again it's not to complexed but it's still changed a little with the layout and such, The information provided when you first login is very helpful you recieve an inbox from the game admin telling you what it's like in the world of Trenton Made. Other great things are the users are very friendly and if they see new sign ups they'd message and ask do they need any starting advice, which is always a plus. Logging in i'd give this game a firm and deserved: 10/10 Exploring the game: Exploring the game is made very easy, nothing has really changed in terms of exploring, as i have said before everything is made more clear and in my opinion everything is where everything should be nothing is out of place, i would like to add that on the actuall explore page the worda [NEW] need to be removed from some links as they have been around for quite a whilst now, anyways i dont really have anything bad to say about the impressive layout or the exploring of this game. Exploring the game i would give a 8/10 Staff: I've had a chance to talk to a few of the staff here on TM however not as much as i'd like to, they are very helpful and they respond to their many users whenever they can, they are also active in the forums which i love about Staff members i don't see any NPC staff members other than the two owners i dont think they play all that much. Staff on this game will get a deserved: 9/10 Misc Information: This is the part where i ramble about stuff like the userbase ect... So in just over 1100 days the site has a userbase of just over 11,000, these stats speak for themself a game this old with a userbase this large, it's fairly impressive and with an active userbase of atleast 1,000 i'd say trenton made hasn't done half bad with there userbase. Key Features: - Loan Sharks .... (Why? ... Well, there is always more than one way of getting money without doing in-game tasks) - Russian Roulette ... (Why? ... it's a good way to add more competition into the game) - Achievement Awards ... (Why? ... Gives the users a sence of accomplishment) - Online Chat ... (Why? Easy way for users to talk and get to know each other) So, finally my final rating for Trenton Made is going to be 9/10 i personally love this game, and would recomend it to many people. As always... The Apprentice, Alex Riley,,, With another seemingly good Text Based Game Review... Enjoy! Game Name: Corrupt City Game URL: http://www.corruptcity,net Game Owner(s): Skalman These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) So, lets get it started. Login/Register: Okay, so i didn't really expect this kind of login when i heard the name of this game, i'm going to personally say this is one of the many few games out there that pull of the image login page, i dont really like the fact that people would use images in the login page as Corrupt City have, but i must say the more i see top quality images made and things that actually stick with the theme of the game the more i can see my opinion changing. I didn't have to register on this game, but i did see the register page, i have said it before and i'll say it again that i love when the Login and Register pages actually match and doesn't look worlds apart, So because i didn't have to register i don't really have much to say about the register page, Things that i would change however are maybe looking at the images used and see if you can change them, i personally don't like the flames used but thats my personal preferences, it doesn't mean that everyone is going to hate them. So in all, the Login & Reigster would get a kind 6/10 Logging on: When i logged in i was pleasantly suprised at what i saw, the layout was totally not what i expected but in a good way, everything looked like origional MC v2 only with a more outstanding layout, as i've said time and time again i'm not a big fan of using images but i make an exception for a few places and this is clearly one of them, everytime i see amazing images used like in CC i feel a little bit more like i could see these images on every game. Everything in the game is very easily found as i've said before it looks like basics V2 layouts. There isnt really that much information provided as to where abouts you should start in-game however as i always say it's just basic knowledge, however when your getting people who don't know anything about these games it's always nice to have advice & guidence along the way. I like the whole layout of the game and i really would recommend visiting this website. Exploring the game: Exploring the game is quite simple actuallty, as i have said everything is really easily found, not that many big changes to talk about other than the layout.... As far as the game goes in, in-game activities everything is made crystal clear... nothing has really cuahgt my eye other than the yourcartle page which is basically the yourgang page, this has been edited and i would say edited in a very good way it makes the gang page look less messy and more clean. Staff: I dont know any of the staff members, however when the game is fully created i will be sure to talk to the staff members and find out if they are a nice group of people or not, i'll be sure to edit this post when the game is released rather than make a totally new post. Misc Information: Being in BETA phase i cant really say that much about it nor it's key features, i do actually like the look and potential of this game, i'm going to edit this review again upon completion. I for now would recommend checking this game out and give it a strong 8/10 in terms of potential and overall enjoyability. As always... The Apprentiice - Alex Riley

Hey all... Once again coming at you with another wonderful game that i have to disect and analyse. Enjoy. Game Name: Dead Lands Game URL: http://www.deadland.net Game Owner(s): SilvaTungDevil These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) Okay, so upon being asked to do this review i was already going to do one anyway because i just loved this game and the layout, and everything associated with it. Usually i wouldn't play games like this or Prison Struggle, but i never really gave them a chance and exploring a little around this game has made me realise how good these games can actually be. Login/Register: Now this is probably my favouirte area of the whole game, it is clean coding no doubt about it but the images work with the game, i love it when a game has images instead of a boring blank canvas with pointless bright colors. This is clearly where the coding team and design team have shown there knowledge and really pulled through. I love this login page and everything about it. The register page, well you could call it a page, it isn't actually a page it's just a pop-up on the login screen, this is an amazing idea for a register page why waste going to a new php page when you can stay on the same one and do everything that you need to do, the signing up is quite easy no email verification needed and just like that with a smile on my face i was on my way to explore the world of Dead Land. The login and register pages are getting a 9/10 ... Good work. Logging In: Upon logging in i realised i was in unfamiliar territory, I knew right away that this wasn't what i was used to however, when i looked passed the fact that i didn't like this game style i decided to give it a try and believe it or not it was easier than i thought, i mean i don't know what i didn't like in the first place, maybe because i wasn't used to it but anyway, logging in i didn't recieve a message but with these games i don't think you need a message to tell you what to do, It's pretty much the same old, do crimes, train at the gym, become the best kinda' thing so i can let them off the hook, a welcoming commite would've been nice but there again no one has ever welcomed me to a game the way i expect the to you know party, girls, cake that kinda' thing. Anyway back on topic, i really like the game inside and outside, it is very clean and well designed, everything is clearly infront of you and easy to find. The logging in section of this game recives a generous: 8/10 Exploring: Now i thought with these games everything would be all over the show and i wouldnt be able to find anything, well thats obviously not the case, this game has everything set out for you, i love the overall layout of this game and everything as i have said is so easily found, There are a lot of things i would change, but thats just my personal preference the overall fact of the matter is it works for the game, and saying that actually i don't think i'd change major things about this game. For the exploring i'm going to give a 8/10 Staff: I've had the chance to speak with the owner of the game and thats about it, i can't say much about the staff but if the staff follow the firm example that the owner sets then i'm sure the staff team of dead land will be as fun and proffesional as possible, but because i have only just signed up i don't really have much to say about the staff aspect. Misc Information: This is the part where i ramble about stuff like the userbase ect... So in just over 230 days the site has a userbase of just over 2090, i think this is a very good number to have and i can see from the bottom of the screen that today alone there have been 384 active users, which if you look at the sign ups doesnt do justice but at the same time it's quite a strong userbase. The users of this game are very friendly and welcoming, Actually i would go as far as to say the most frindly group of users i have ever met on Text Based Games. i have been on the game nearly an hour and everyone has treated me very well, with various users asking me if i needed help, i'm going to have to say that i might stick around in Dead Land just abit longer than i had anticiapted. Well expect the unexpected, right? Key Features: - Medals .... (Why? ... Gives the user a sence of achivement) - Top 5 Users In City .... (Why? ... Gives a more competative edge to the game) - Lottery .... (Why? ... More than one way to earn money in the game) So overall i'm going to say very good work from SilvaTung and i hope him all the best with his game, i'm also going to say well done to DJKanna who is one of the coders working on this amazing game, overall i rate it 9/10 ... keep up the good work As always... Hey MWG, The Apprentice - Alex Riley here again, Another review is on it's way. I hope you enjoy this one as much as i enjoyed writing it. - Website Name: W3Theory - Website Purpose: Hosting - Website URL: http://www.w3theory.com - Website Owner(s): Peter & Equinox Hey so this is a first time reviewing a Hosting website, so heres how it's gonna' go down. I'm gonna' split the website up into three different sections these are as follows: - Website Layout - Hosting Services - Information Provided So here it goes again... I don't really like Hosting websites, i've never liked the idea of making one myself, but when i logged onto W3Theory my mind was changed, i loved the way this website had been made and i really liked how proffesional it looked and how much effort they had put in. Website Layout: Now, correct me if i'm wrong which 8/10 i am but i think the layout is out sourced on this website, but if not then full credit to both the owners for such a proffesional looking layout, you can really tell that the owners have put a lot of thought into this website and making it looks feaisable and proffesional. In my opinion if i was buying hosting from an online company and they didn't have a proffesional layout, i'd move onto the next, i personally think that W3 is right up there with the best of them hell it doesn't even matter about their design they show proffesionalism in the fact that they have a phone number for 24 hour support to all their clients, i know most companies may do that but i really didn't expect it with a hosting company. For layout and proffesionalism i'm going to give W3 a very high 8/10... Good work. Hosting Services: Now i was blown away when i saw the prices for these hosting packages none of the packages ammount to more than $10 the highest being $8+ and what you are getting in these packages is really good value, i can tell that the owners of this website have actually thought about what it's like to run a website and that has effected their prices but the packages they give are generous and totally worth the money, i however don't know any websites under the W3 name so it would be impossible to tell you how fast the websites run ect, but i'm sure they are reliable hosts and i'm sure they have a long list of clients. For hosting services and the packages i have no choice but to give a 10/10 ... Amazing. And finally... Information: The information provided on this website is more than enough, it shows you regular updates of the website itself, shows you what you'll be getting from the website and many many more, im going to refer back to it but it even has a 24 hour support line if you cant find the right information on the website. So in all i'm going to say that W3 is one of the best hosting websites i have seen during my time in this industry. Keep up the good work guys. As always... The Apprentice - Alex Riley

This i know isn't a gaming website... However it is associated with gaming, and a review can quite easily be made... So here goes nothing. Admins if i have put this in the wrong place i'm sure you will move it soon. Portfolio Owner: Dayo Porfolio Name: CD-Designs Porfolio URL: http://www.cddesigns.org So i wont waste any time in telling you how this is going to work, i'm going to split it up into 5 different sections these are as follows: - Layout - Affiliates/Associates - Services Offered - Information - Contact Well when i first saw CD-Designs i was amazed, i had never seen such a proffesional website made in my entire time on the internet, I didn't know where to start... Layout: The layout of this website is top-notch, i couldn't have imagined it to look any better, when you enter the URL the first page you come to is the home page, as you can see straight away there is a slideshow of different going-ons in the website, now when people often do slideshows they aren't really that thought out, but everything about this homepage of CD-Designs says other wise you can tell that the creators have put so much time and effort into their work and wanted to make it as userfriendly as possible. So the overall layout is very neat and well presented, and more to the point it looks so proffesional. If i had a choice between other Portfoilio websites and this one, i would without a shadow of a doubt choose this 100% of the time. In terms of layout i'm not even going to lie, a 10/10 is well deserved, Good work CD-Designs. Affiliates/Associates: Dayo has done some amazing work with this website and he had outdone himself in my opinion. They do show on CD-Designs their affiliate sites or sites they have created, and you can see Dayo is clearly a very talented web designer, they already have a game set-up purley for facebook apps. I don't personally know a lot when it comes to facebook apps but i'm assuming it isn't an easy thing to accomplish, and then even more to the point they have a game that is under construction titled: The Mercernary. Now The Mercenary looks like a very proffesional and well anticiapted game, and if the portfolio website that Dayo has produced is anything to go by then this game will not disapoint, already i can see from the login page that he havs thought about every aspect of this game and he is going to wait rather than rushing and opening right away with bugs flying around everywhere... I would defenautly look out for The Mercenary's grand opening, you'd be a sucker to miss it. Anyways back to the Portfolio. Judging on the quality and standrards set by the portfolio for their affiliates and creations i'm going to give a strong 9/10 ... Once again, awesome job CD-Designs. Services Offered: The services that Dayo offers are remarkable here are just a few things in which this website lists it's potential services are: - Game Engine Development - Game Modification - Facebook Intergration I mean wow, it's good enough that Dayo can make games whenever he wants but he is throwing in additional services to people less fortunate and who might not be able to do any of the above, i think these services are second to none, and knowing one of the coders already i know that their quality of work is outstanding and judging on their previous work i don't think i can say a bad thing about Dayo as a person or a coder... I would give CD-Designs a nice big 9/10 for services provided. Portfolio: I have touched upon it before, but i'll do it again, the websites and the CD website are amazing quality, if you are looking to hire a proffesional then this is the place to do it, when you look at the portfolio section of CD-Designs you have to take your hat off to them, beat that when you look at the CD-Designs website you have to take your hat off. He is an amazing coder and you can see his work shine through all over And finally Contact: It would be quite easy to contact the website as they have a page devoted to it, in which visitors can email the staff and recieve almost instant replies, this again making this team far more proffesional that most out there. In clossing i would give CD-Designs 9/10 ... It is a very proffesional website. I would also very much anticipate the release of "The Mercenary" it will be coming to a 15" screen near you soon, and i will be doing an in-depth review on that also. So... As always... Hey all... Once again coming at you with another wonderful game that i have to disect and analyse. Enjoy. Game Name: City Struggle Game URL: http://www.citystruggle.com Game Owner(s): Bianchi & Will These reviews as always are going to be split up into 5 different sections, these are as follows; - Login/Register (Easy sign-up, Layouts, What could be improved, What i personally like) - Logging In (Logging in for the first time, Information provided on game) - Exploring the game (Are things easily found, Are things made clearer, Layout of the game) - Staff (Are the staff friendly, How do they help, Different staff roles) - Misc Information (Game statistics and a general overview of the games userbase, Key feautres) So lets get it started... Login/Register: The login page appears to be bland and plain, but i think with the whole concept of City Struggle, it isn't about fancy designs and amazing banners, it's more of whats actually inside the game that what it shows. Ever heard the experssion "Putting make-up on a pig wont make it look good" well it's never been more true with most games, however Bianchi & Will have picked up on this and deicded to put more inside than show more on the outside, so before people visit and think it's going to be boring and plain, think again. Login: The login page as i have said appears plain, and thats because it is, if you have an over the top login and basics everywhere else how stupid is your game going to look? So i think the idea to have a plain login is fairly acceptable in this sence, when you look at the login of city struggle you are kind of reminded of Torn City, do not be fooled this is nothing like Torn City. A good thing about this login is it has a link to the Mobile site which is obviously the Cell phone version on City Struggle which i think is very unique. Reigster: The register page is exactly like the home page, only it's more informative, underneath each section is a breif on what you should be entering into each field. for example it tells you how many characters to have in your password and also the strength of the password, this is a good security aspect as i know when i signed up with my password and it shown me the strength it made me feel more secure, again it has a captcha but it's not an eye sore like most others. So in terms of this being plain and actually working i'm going to give the Login & Register page(s) a 7.5/10 Logging in: When logging on you will see the menu on the left side of the screen, it looks almost like a MCv1 menu and thats probably because it is, nothing special again they have just stuck to the minimalistic look, but as i have said before it works. When you signup and login to the game you recieve two messages, one which states what you have to do in the game and what missions you may encounter during the game, and one message from a staff member which welcomes you to the game and tells you how to get started and where is best to visit first. When you login you are shown your index page which shows your house, items equipeed and player information, much like most loggedin pages, but again this is a minimalistic page so there isn't that much information provided. So i'm going to give the Logging in section of City Struggle a 6/10 as it does have information but it could do with a little more. Exploring The Game: Exploring has never been easier than with CS, The explore button is basically your guide to everything on the whole game, the layout of the game looks a little like this User Information Banner Stat Bars Main Menu - - - As you can see this is very very minimalistic, i know i keep saying it but this may give you and idea to how much there actually is on this game, thats why i love this game, because there is no fancy flash work that is going to distract you and the game is just straight to the point in you face. Now with this game there is no Experience bar, which adds a whole new concept to the game, people like to know how far they are from levelling however with this game it isn't the case there is an added element of suprise as to when your going to level and how far you are off leveling. So exploring the game, i'm going to give a 10/10 everything is really easily found because of it's basic layout. Staff: The staff on CS i have a great relationship with and it's the same for most of the users on this game, They are always looking for ways to improve the game and they are always asking for the users input, and again what i like with this is the creators of the game are mostly NPC's whereas the rest of the staff are actually Characters and competitive characters at that, but i have had problems on the game before and unlike other games the staff aren't stuck up and they actually reply to their mail. The staff roles look like this: - Mayor - General Manager - Moderator These are fairly simple to work out what each role does. Anyway, for staff comunication and helpfulness i'm going to give City Struggle a 10/10. And finally we come to the best section of all. Misc Information: This is the misc information section where i basically ramble about the userbase of the game and the key features in the game, so when this review was done the game had 33,000+ signups, the game was recently reset so i can't say how many days it has been open for, but the user base could be alot more active with i'd saymaybe 400/500 actually sticking around to play this game... I think these numbers are appauling and i would recommend people start playing this game more often. Some Key Features include: - Task Bar (Bottom Of The Screen) ... (Why? ... Quick and easy way to navigate) - Unique Crimes ... (Why? ... Instead of boring crimes you steal things that are relevant in the explore page, e.g. Guns & Armour) - Wanted Level ,,, (Why? ... Shows the user how much of a risk there is of getting caught and put into Jail) - Forums ... (Why? ... Bringing the gaming community closer together) In all i would give the plain and simple City Struggle a 7.5/10 ... For actually working as one of the best minimalistic games on the internet i have ever seen, i enjoy playing this game, and relished at the opportunity to write this review, hope you enjoyed. Thanks for reading, As always... The Apprentice - Alex Riley.
