i didnt realise there was a game that is really similar to the one i am making and this is why i am no longer continuing with this project.

Yeah when there is games like "the west" you need do do something different than any-other game.

see your making a western game but there is already a very well know game doing what you want to, so that means like 80% - 90% of the players that will come to your game will of played that game and if there is nothing different then they are not going to stay.

 

when making a game you need to look at a few key points.

1) how many games are in my category.

2) is my game the same has every other mc game.

3) who are my customers (not players customers has we all need money to keep a game running)

The theme isn't overused, just the name tha-west/the-west isn't very creative.

Don't not continue. If I was you I'd think of a new name and try and make it somehow different to The West. I've not really played it, so I can't give any advice on how you could change things.
