Scrollable div

Hey guys

I'm trying to et my main content into a scrollable div rather than users having to scroll the whole page. I've seen it on quite a few sites but can't seem to wrk out how it's done?! Anyone give me a hand??

thanks but i know that bit, it's where to put it that im struggling with. Do i put it in the header within the <td> tags that make up the main content area, or do i just put each separate page in a div?
