Re: Mccode username After some playing around with that code, i got to this:   You cant have your name with special characters in but if you have special characters AND numbers/letters, it still works. Any way i can stop that

Can anyone please give me a php code that stops users from adding any special characters in their username. I need to add this in register.php and in preferences.php. As when people have a ' in their name, it acts as an sql injection and causes SERIOUS BUGS! I dont know what code to do so only letters and numbers caan be used in usernames. Please can someone help fast?

And well you could change the money cost to whatever you like. its only 300k for me as there isnt much money in circulation. It's like one of my early mods ive made. Im quite new to php and making that mod made me happy as finally i can code things. And yes maybe you do not like it, but i just want to tell you my friend has tried it on his site and the server does not go slow at all. When my friend used it, all his players (2000+) went into hospital and the server didnt go slow at all. I just wanted to share this mod as people have shared their mods and helped me out a lot. Anyway as most people were giving me bad comments i decided to delete it from the free modifications and i probably wont sell it. I didnt know people would give such negative comments. And thanks nyna for your comment.

But tezza said if someone goes into fed jail, and then return x days later, and find their moneys gone, i dont think they wud play do you? And i mean fed jail is so users learn from their mistakes. And if they are in for say even 300 days, im sure some would come back after 300 days to see all the new updates. And i think they would be excited that they would have a lot of money spare. And seeing it all gone wont do them any good! Also if you mean to take the money off users who have been scamming or are in for say 1000 days for hacking or something, you could easily just go on to edit user and delete the money from them :D
