That's why i stay in the background while the games are live and running and pop in on rare occasions only just to say hi. There's approximately 600 million people connected to the internet at any given time at any given hour at any given day. I'm sure having a few dozen people hate me won't affect me much. I was never happy with HP, I don't even know what the sad act sacked coder is crying about anyway, the coding sucked, big time, it was heavily limited and constrictive, interactivity was minimal, it just wasn't right. Time to kill it off and re-write from fresh, something more sleak, modern, with more user-end customization and interaction. Anyway, giving "Fi" my password now as I'm going to be busy for quite a few weeks in the background, now all this BS is sorted I can f*ck off again and do what I enjoy doing behind the scenes. This is why I don't show up much, toomuch petty teenage drama queens who take the sites and the net in general way too seriously. You're arguing over a fictional character, a marketing ploy, for a game that's dead. It's gone. It's not coming back. Chucky & I have moved on. If you've got a problem regarding the past, either e-mail myself, Chucky or "Fi" - as far as money is concerned. !! NO !! THERE WILL NOT BE REFUNDS !! You pay for a service, you got the service. The fact that the servers were hacked into doesn't change anything, the site had a disclaimer saying payment is/was non-refundable unless there were specific technical issues. There were no technical issues, there was mere spite from an ex-coder with a chip on his shoulder who decided the most adult, mature way to deal with his complaints was to f*ck with the server instead of talking about it like any other grown up would. When GOH is launched in 2 weeks time you're welcome to sign up, and you'll be given free premium equivalent/probably MORE than equal to what you paid in HP as compensation, Chucky & I have always said this, so it's not like we did it deliberately. The old code was screwed up, it needed a complete re-write from scratch and all security holes plugged. I've done that myself with GOH. It's a whole new code. Somebody already spotted earlier it was a marketing ploy. It was. But it's gotten way out of hand now and it's just gotten pathetic that people, weeks after it was all finished, are still arguing about non-existent characters, alter-egos. Grow up for crying out loud. This thread should be locked or moved into a mindless drivel section, it isn't even relevant any more as the game it's referring to/complaining about no longer exists, nor will it ever again, so any arguments regarding that game are null & void and won't get anyone anywhere except look like complete fools arguing about some Yorkshire bloke's "mes a goodgirl hehe" mascot sockpuppet. All you gotta do is a quick Google or go on Internet archive, the alter-ego has been used for 10 years now on several different projects - it's all about user retention. How do you get guys to stay on a community? Girls. But how do you get girls to stay on a community? Other girls. So if you start a new community and you're two guys, what do you do? It's basic logic. Create a welcome mat alter-ego. A few hehes a >.< and a >.> and a "awww me luvs u" and before you know it you've got a group of regulars who see that mascot as their ringleader and the very face and identity of the community. What ever has happened it was nothing personal - it's just business. Get over it. Move on. Now if you excuse me, I've got the IM chatbox to install and test on the new Gates of Heaven game. And as I promised, anybody from HP that signs up while the game is in open beta mode (launch date approx: 10th of June) will get a free premium account/profile/game boosts (extra hitpoints, health, hunger) for life - as in permanently.

Ah bugger 'em Aaron mate. They're only jealous of our success, as a team we're unbeatable, that's why they steal our code and try to shut our sites down. GoH is going to be amazing, and they certainly won't find any flaws or bugs in its code. Anyway, next time you're in Rotherham we'll meet up with Ecky, I've got a good idea for incorporating our gaming side of the company, with JustFriendlyChat, have a mini-browser game for the users of JFC. Call it 'Friendly Town', and basically, have it a more 'compact' version of GoH/HP v.2 more directed towards the niche target of our community users. Time to give GG a rest a bit for a while though LOL. Think we'll go back to ~Fiona~ a bit. Anyone who thinks our tactics are under-handed have no business sense whatsoever. Visitor retention = THE most important part of launching a new community, gaming or not, you have to have a 'friendly face'.. a mascot, if you will, that people will come back for.

OK here's the truth. The Chuckster and I are best friends in real life, we created the alter-ego of "goodgirl" because it would attract more customers/players and retain more regulars, than it would if it was two males running it. I was the one who played 'her' character the most, then the Chuckster took over more and more this past few months, so I could turn up under my ordinary username. I have a cracked, full version of Diamond Voice Changer software, it is very, very, VERY rare I ever let anyone get close to enough to force me into using a mic or a phone, but if they did, Skype + Diamond VC = win. No code was stolen. The guy on HP.net holds a grudge because he owes me money and threw a wobbly, and I don't care any more, because I've had the last laugh. Anyway, me and the Chuckster are giggling our heads off at you all at the moment! The new game will be launching in 2 weeks. (The new game will be called the Garden of Heaven), it is a highly improved version of the HP code that Chucky coded himself. As for fraud etc, it's a load of rubbish. If you buy something, and that something becomes out of date, it isn't fraud.. just means it's become out of date. Same with HP. You bought a service. The guy at HP.net f*cked with our servers and shut the game down, that's not our fault at all, there was a clear disclaimer on the site stating refunds cannot and will not be given under circumstances of technical difficulties. And I'd say being hacked, threatened and stalked pretty much is covered by that disclaimer. So kindly.. fist my goat's anal-face! o/
