Djkanna
The teamtreehouse seems like a nice link there ill check that out better when I get time :) It's not a bad site: Though looking to learn PHP there's not really much, there's one or two PHP specific projects, building an eCommerce site IIRC, probably a better resource if you're learning Ruby, at least that way you can build a simple social networking site in Ruby. However there is a good selection for: design theory, web design (responsive, adaptive, interactive etc), CSS/HTML/JS/Photoshop. There's also a few catered towards Android and IOS apps. :)

sniko
Why Larry Ullmans books may I ask sniko? :) More of a personal opinion than anything. Before I started programming, I went into the bookshop, bought his book, and it explains things in very good details (IMO).
